Last season ended with villain Shane Casey holding Detectives Danny and Lindsay’s little girl’s life in his hands. But I’ll discuss the resolution to that later. Right now there is the case of the empty CSI floor, a female newcomer with no one to greet her… and a bloody hand print upon one of the glass panels!

Welcome to another episode of Outlaw. This week, the show tackles the touchy subject of the newest controversial law in Arizona. The law states that a law enforcement officer has the right to ask for the identification of any individual they feel may be an illegal alien. There has been a lot of uproar about this and I’m glad the show went there. It was a good episode that made me think.

Supernatural – Recap & Review – Exile on Main Street

For those of you who thought that you couldn’t top the end of the world, you were right. The season premiere of Supernatural delivered pretty much what I’d expected – slowing down the pace after the past two seasons of full-throttle mythology. Sera Gamble has said that season six would showcase a return to the meat of what made the show in the first place – the hunting. But it also showcased what is really the backbone of the series – family.

It’s back! Smallville, the show about heroes and the journey to fulfill one’s destiny. Entering its 10th and final season I am extremely excited to see where they take the mythology and our favorite young Superman Clark Kent. This season is going to be Legendary!

Another season of Medium! The girls are older (and experiencing more of their mother’s gifts perhaps?), Allison is still battling a pressing brain tumor, but is she all right? In this episode we get a whole lot of Bridgette, which in my humble opinion is a good thing.

In the quote of the episode “But that’s adult stuff and it bores me” Bridgette has a summer video assignment, in which we meet the family. And their houseguest, a dead mobster. Everyone can see him but Joe, which has to be fun.

Blue Bloods – Recap & Review – Pilot

Often you hear the police force being referred to as a family. However, in the Reagan family it’s the truth. Generation after generation has been made up of law enforcement officers or members of the judicial system. Traditionally men fall into the former category and women in the latter. But there’s much more going on in this family than meets the eye: secret societies, a dead brother and mother, possible betrayal, and a constant attempt to avoid accusations of nepotism. Things aren’t easy for this family and there’s no internal affairs department large enough to sort out their problems.

Marriage ends horribly for Dennis, Charlie, Frank and home wrecker Dee.

7:30 AM, on a Monday, and Dennis cannot make a move without waking Maureen, whose clinginess is getting on his nerves. Arriving at the bar, Dennis endures the now-homeless Mac (washing up,in the sink), Frank and Charlie’s marital bickering, and Dee being showered with gifts by Dennis’s new brother-in-law.

The League – Recap & Review – Brolo Cunado

The League
Bro-lo El Cunado

Original Air Date: Sep 23, 2010

Tom R. – Sr. Staff Writer
tom@thetwocents.com

El Cunado (with a tilde) means brother-in law, but of course that doesn’t stop the guys from making it sound dirty.

The League gets a fresh shot in the arm from actor Jason Mantzoukas as Ruxin’s cunado Rafi. The character allows more character development for both Andre and Taco, as The League galvanizes against him. Rafi loads the jukebox with Hoobastank, steals Pete’s drinks and gets way too aggressive with his trash talking. Along the way, he is shuffled from friend to friend with disastrous results. Andre and Taco are the butt of these kind of jokes, but Rafi deserves them so much more, and it’s nice to see them on the other end for a change. It is an absolutely brilliant mix that makes all of the League players step up their game.

Finally, the wait is over! We finally get a resolution of last season’s cliffhanger finale. What will happen to Ray? What about Haskell? All those questions are answered right away. We also have the acting debut of The Bieb! I have to admit, the kid does a very good job.

We open with “Previously…on CSI”. We see Nick and Clark at the restaurant with Jekyll. We are reminded Clark was killed. Then we see Haskell stab Ray again. That’s where we pick up…
