The Good Wife
Taking Control

Original Air Date: Sep 28, 2010

Patricia Morris Buckley —Sr. Staff Writer

We spent months wondering who Alicia would pick — Will or Peter — and it is over in one minute, and without any real choice made. At least there was some amazingly hot sex to get us over the disappointment. That always helps!

That’s right, the action picked up right where it left off. Alicia is fielding a call from Will who is making a play for her. She asks him to come up with a plan. But when he calls back, she’s going to the podium with Peter, who is announcing his reelection campaign.

Law & Order SVU
Behave

Original Air Date: Sep 29, 2010

Caitlin- Associate Staff Writer
caitlin@thetwocentscorp.com

SVU has always been a deeply emotional show, touching subjects most others won’t on a regular basis. This week, it’s been actively raising awareness about the backlog of untested rape kits all across the country- and does so in this episode with an especially affecting storyline and guest star Jennifer Love Hewitt.

A street preacher finds a woman on a bus. Her head is bleeding, and she’s apparently in shock. She says she was raped, but denies it at the hospital and runs from the detectives. They soon find a broken bottle where she was attacked matching the glass in her hair and discover she was using a fake name.

Glee – Recap & Review – Britney/Brittany

Glee
Britney/Brittany

Original Air Date: Sep 29, 2010

Farrah Kaye – Sr. Editor
farrah@thetwocentscorp.com

When the Britney/Brittany episode was first announced, I was torn in my emotions. On one hand, I honestly am not a Britney Spears fan. On the other hand, I love the character of Brittany and feel Heather Morris is one of the most underused members of the cast. So I decided to suck it up and be excited that Heather would get her time to shine.

I remember the first time I saw Britney Spears in concert. Back then, she was an opening act for N*SYNC (and dating Justin in secret!), with nothing but a microphone and that pink sports bra with white pants singing in front of a black curtain. Lip syncing, of course. We all know where the story goes from there.

So my question was how would Britney fit in with the storylines of Rachel and Finn, Artie and Tina, Puck, Kurt, Will and Emma and the biggest question of all, how in the world would she help introduce us to John Stamos’ character, “the dentist?” Surprisingly, it all made sense.

Parenthood – Recap & Review – I’m Cooler Than You Think

Parenthood
I’m Cooler Than You Think

Original Air Date: Sep 28, 2010

Karen Belgrad – Associate Staff Writer

Are you watching Parenthood? If last night’s ratings are an indicator you aren’t. This is a shame, because Parenthood is officially one of the best family dramas on television. And I do use drama loosely, because this show is equal parts heartbreaking and lighthearted all within the same sixty minute time frame.

Last night’s episode was a true to form enjoyable and emotional hour of television. Each Braverman sibling went down their own path, but all stories converged on a shared touch point. At the end of each of their days, it’s all about their kids. Keep reading to see what Adam, Julia, Sarah, and Crosby were up to.

The fallout from Lone Star’s cancellation continues as Fox scrambles to shuffle around their schedule to fill the gap.

First, they moved Lie to Me into the now-empty time slot on Monday nights starting Oct. 4, bumping it up from its November premiere.

Now, they have announced they are delaying Human Target until November 17 to replace Lie to Me on Wednesdays. Reruns of House will be aired in the Friday time slot Human Target was to occupy, alongside The Good Guys.
