It’s a new week at Mid American Novelties. I swear this show gets better every week. It’s all about a double date and a sleepover on this week’s episode.

We’d better jump right in before Gupta talks us to death!

Vampires and werewolves, and crime, oh my! There’s a blood-red moon in Las Vegas this week, what could go wrong?

We open with an interspersed montage of Catherine and Vartann having passionate sex and a murder. I’m not sure which act was most disturbing. My eyes! Thank goodness I had already finished my dinner for what came next.

We’ve got a situation tonight on Bones. They’re hitting the Jersey Shore! So finish your GTL and gather your guido’s. I’m filling in for Karen, but I’ll try to stick to her format as best I can.

When I heard about this episode, I worried that I might miss out, considering I don’t watch Jersey Shore. But fear not, Bones gives you all the info you need to “get it”.

This week, Jack has to go to the Kabletown-NBC hearings in DC to make sure the deal goes through, and his strategy is this: extol the virtues of vertical integration, or as he explains to Liz, owning the companies that manufacture diarrhea medicine and corn chips and making corn chips that give you diarrhea.

Liz is horrified, but I was more horrified by Jonathan’s hope that a ridiculous slew of disasters would force him to be trapped in a hotel room shirtless with Jack.

Travis has officially gone off to college. So naturally, Jules has officially gone off the edge, right? Whose life will she get involved in way too much? Who will she try to change? And who will she smother? Pick a friend, any friend.

Are you as concerned as I am that without Travis the show is going to lose something? And that they spent too much of the summer concentrating on the name change than the show? Maybe this week will surprise me.

Criminal Minds – Recap & Review – Remembrance of Things Past

A Rossi episode! You guys know I make no secret of the fact that I adore Rossi, so I am always excited when I hear we’re going to get another episode that has a focus on him. This week, a case-gone-cold that Rossi worked in the early nineties comes back from the dead (perhaps not the best choice of words?) when new bodies almost fitting the old unsub’s MO start turning up in Bristol, Virginia.

And for the third week in a row, Criminal Minds topped the ratings. So I guess all those people that said they would stop watching this season (or stop watching after last week’s episode) had a change of heart?

Have you ever been in an earthquake? I once was. Granted, it was very small, and I only knew about it after the fact since my parents told me when I woke up, but I still tell people that I survived an earthquake!

However, when the cast of Modern Family survives an earthquake, you have to expect that its hilarious, and that they all handled it in very different, but amazing ways.

Survivor – Recap & Review – Episode 4

Survivor
Pulling the Trigger

The low down This season might have the most crazy people I can remember for a season of Survivor. Jimmy T is allowed to display his crazy fully this week while Naonka continues on hoping to be the Most Despicable Person Ever.

Pre-credits:

Despite the fact that everyone voted for Jimmy Johnson, some people are fairly upset after having sent him home. Not Jimmy T. He’s singing by the fire, loudly and badly, and clearly annoying everyone in earshot. Marty solo-views that Jimmy T will hang himself if you give enough rope. Marty just happens to have a huge surplus of rope at the moment.

Law & Order SVU – Recap & Review – Merchandise

Law & Order SVU
Merchandise

Original Air Date: Oct 6, 2010

Caitlin- Associate Staff Writer

This week focused on sex trafficking of minors and the treatment of the kids in the system. In other words, it’s one of those episodes that has multiple people doing things so horrible they still disturb even after 12 seasons of this show.

A girl runs blindly through a park, running into and things pushing people out of her way. They all seem to think she’s a troublemaker, but it’s clear she’s in a panic. She reaches the street, and then stumbles suddenly into it, where she is struck and killed by a taxi.
