I am so happy to see Bones get back to the old-school ways of earlier episodes and treat us to some fun lab antics, and our characters growing and moving on. This week we are treated with some fun with Hodgins in the lab doing what he does best…experiments!

We also have houseguest Sweets making plans to leave, which Booth will not believe until he actually sees it.

After last week’s emotional farewell to J.R. Ewing, I wondered where the show was headed. With J.R.’s final and master plan yet to be fully revealed, would the other character’s pick up the torch and legacy of one of television’s greatest villains? J.R. Ewing was more than just dastardly, he did everything with a wink and a swagger that enthralled viewers, both new and old.

In a word… yes. While nobody will ever “be” J.R., the show had a renewed energy tonight even with the reemergence of the methane drinking game. This hour had sex, blackmail, drinking, deception, and (best of all) a cliffhanger! If the rest of the season keeps up this pace and energy, I should hope it’s a lock for a third season!

After a couple weeks away, the HIMYM gang is back, and it’s time for Barney and Robin to make a bit more progress towards their wedding. This week, he agrees to give up his apartment. I’ll let you sit down for a moment and avoid the flying pigs.

The only problem is, he needs to find a worthy person to take over the Fortress of Barnitude. To him and his holographic floating head, the only option is Ted. And when Ted refuses, Barney believes moving away is impossible.

Pre-Woodbury, we find Andrea and Michonne sitting around a campfire with the ‘pets.’ I believe it is early in their friendship, maybe only a few days after the events at the farm. Andrea asks about their bodyguards, and we learn in as few words as possible that Michonne knew them before the outbreak, and that they were bad people. It is obvious that Michonne has been through some awful things in her life, and perhaps she this that whole apocalypse thing ain’t so bad for her. She may be right, but only be degrees.

In present-day Woodbury, the Governor has got himself a project. In anticipation of Rick keeping his end of the deal and delivering Michonne to Woodbury, the Governor is setting up a little room for her, complete with chains, and old dentist chair, and lots of not-so-happy medical instruments. He has everything from a bone saw to a speculum to a needle and thread. He is going to do awful things to her, then he’s going to sew her up and start again.

We start this week in a new location – Emily and Aiden’s “safe haven”. Emily tells Aiden about running into her foster-brother (Eli James) at the cemetery when she was visiting Amanda’s grave. She doesn’t think that Eli recognized her, but she is worried that he will if he sticks around. As a child, Eli served as her protector. In turn, Emily had promised to always be around. That lasted until Emily burned their house down.

Victoria and Conrad open a foundation in Amanda’s name and plan to hold a gala in order to raise money for the foundation. Victoria calls Jack to ask his permission to do so. Jack agrees that this would be a fitting tribute to Amanda. When Emily hears about the foundation, she volunteers to be co-chair and donate money to the foundation. Victoria tells Emily that she will consider her as co-chair.

Over the years, Mr. Burns has been quite the villainous character. His villain aliases have included a vampire and a sorcerer named Lord Montymort. In this episode, Burns takes on the alias of a caped crimefighter, the “Fruitbatman.” It does kind of go with the vampire persona.

We start with Springfield’s Easter celebration, which Kent Brockman jokingly calls the “Blue Bonnet Plague.” As the Springfield Elementary School band plays, the horns section seems to have trouble. Someone has stuffed eggs into the horns and when the children blow hard to get sound out, they pelt the audience with eggs. Bart is laughing hysterically and everyone suspects he is behind the prank. A mob forms to chase after him.

Once Upon A Time
Welcome To Storybrooke

Original Air Date: Mar 17, 2013

Jules – News Editor
jules@thetwocentscorp.com

Our choices define us, we know. So after Snow’s choice last week, she’s in some serious dark place right now with Regina out to seek vengeance. Not a good place to be.

In the midst of this, we get a flashback to the earliest days of Storybrooke when everyone was migrated to a non-magical world. And for Regina, she might have won, but this wasn’t exactly what she was expecting when she got here. But at least Sheriff Graham is here!
