The low down We’re back to a combined reward-immunity challenge this week. But with a twist! Both tribes are going to tribal council, so everyone is playing individual immunity. In the end, two people I liked get sent home.

Pre-credits: We start out with Danny talking about quitting. Holly solo-views that quitting is an easy way out. Anyone who wants to quit should’ve thought about how tough it was before getting here.

This was a bit of an unusual episode for SVU. It began with what seemed to be a very strange case, but in a twist, actually became more conventional. Conventional for this show, anyway. The disturbing storylines and despicable guest characters are still intact.

A mother and children come home to find their father sodomized and bound on the floor. When then detectives investigate, he keeps his shirt closed with his hand. Only when they ask him directly do Olivia and Elliot realize he’s been hiding a branding cut into his chest with a coat hanger: “Ruiner”

As I sit here typing on my laptop, watching television on my DVR, with my Ipod Touch at my side, and my cell phone nearby, it’s hard to imagine going for any amount of time without my personal electronic gizmos. How many people still have a landline? How many people still have encyclopedias?

This week the Dunphys do their best to forgo modern technology. Cam and Mitchell play their gay card. And… what exactly does Gloria do with a neighbors barking dog? Keep reading to find out!

We open on a radio station where Navy Commander Walter Daniels is speaking with controversial DJ Adam Gator. The debate is about how military resources are spent and deployed, arguing whether the military should be concentrated within America or spread out across the world. The dispute is cut short when the engineer, the Navy Commander and the radio host are all shot dead, live on air.

Alicia looks guilty of leaking a depo, Kalinda hits a homerun on Blake’s car and the political scene gets tenser. All in all, a great Good Wife.

The episode starts off with the news that Glen Childs’ deposition from the Northbridge sniper case has been leaked to the press. The question is: who did it? It seems pretty obvious to many that Alicia did it since she worked on the case. But anyone who knows Alicia (and we know her pretty well by now, don’t we?) knows she didn’t do it. Doesn’t stop Cary from serving her in the investigation.

So the mystery of the episode is discovering who did.

On many crime dramas, the head of the station is an important character, but doesn’t get as much screen time as others because they aren’t out on cases. The trend seemed to continue on this show until last night, when Lieutenant Mason- and her daughter, Simone- got a major storyline.

They are wrapped into a case of a girl at Simone’s school being killed in front of the building. In a second incident, a young man is found dead in the kitchen of a restaurant- and is soon revealed to be the son of a defense attorney.

Jim patrols in a park and hears some screaming. He confronts an attacker, who gets shot. Jim scoops up the attacker and drops the guy at the hospital — along with a note saying he mugged someone. The next day, Jim turns in sketch of guy who shot the attacker. His boss has no intention of tracking down a guy who shot a mugger.
