Warning: No Castiel Sightings.

What the fang just happened? To quote Dean, what the hell?

Before I start my little opinion piece, let’s go over the plot. Which was pretty much a hefty sense of snark aimed towards the current vampire trend. Don’t get me wrong I’m not against vampires. Angelus and Spike were champions (figuratively and literally) and The Vampire Diaries has kind of become a guilty pleasure. But Supernatural picked the one fad I wish would die a horrible, decapitated death – Twilight.

The scenario is a criminal, Melvin, asking his defense attorney, Roland Carson, to stash a gun he used to ‘allegedly’ kill a rival drug dealer. Carson declares he can’t take it because it would make him an accomplice… all the while he’s preparing to place it in his safe. Before he can complete the task, his body guard, James Belson, ushers Melvin and Carson into the closet and then he is promptly shot as two thieves expertly raid Carson’s safe. Melvin decides to try and stop the theft, shooting one of the robbers before he is cut down by a machine gun.

The thieves make off with the contents of Carson’s safe: money, stocks, gems and jewelry. As Mac points out, the safe wasn’t so safe after all.

Our matchup this week is Ruxin vs. Taco and Ruxin gives Taco entirely too much credit. It’s also Ruxin and Sophia’s fifth anniversary and Jenny’s birthday. On the same day. Yeah, that’s not gonna be good!

We also get to see Leslie Bibb again as Meeghan, Pete’s ex-wife.

Welcome back to another week at Mid America Novelties! This week we have naughty novelties, lizard fish, sexual harassment and lots of coconuts.

I’m also celebrating the show’s pick up for a whole season. I know some people don’t like the show, but I love it. Have I mentioned that Gupta’s my favorite?

Private Practice
In Or Out

It seems right now that the ABC dramas (or most in general) have themes. Lies, kissing, growing, sharing. This week, Private Practice’s theme is worrying. Pete worrying about Violet, Addison worrying about Sam hurting her, Charlotte worrying if she’ll ever be a good mom, and new father worrying about his wife and baby.

The stories always come together in some form and I’m in the mood for a recap makeover. Tell me what you think!

Meg – Sr. Reviewer

In tonight’s installment of “Community”, Shirley’s attempts to make religion “cool” end up with Abed gettin’ his Jesus on! Oh yes, in full wig-wearing, chest-baring style, everyone’s favorite meta-geek channels God (or Charlie Kaufman) to film the story of Jesus. And himself. With God as the camera and Jesus as the film. Or the audience as Jesus and God as the camera. Or, well… it’s a little confusing.

Read on for the full recap and review – and don’t forget to share your own thoughts on the episode!
