We’re so used to the concept of lawyers as ambulance chasers that this episode could be a major eye-opener for many.

It all begins when a young woman, Lara White, comes to the firm looking for representation on a sexual assault case. The police have already refused to prosecute. Her story has inconsistencies. She is strangely calm for someone assaulted only a few hours before. The man in question is Joe Kent, a Nobel Prize winner for his fight for the rights of African women. She is a masseuse with cash issues. And oh, Cary told her to seek out Alicia’s firm.

Monday night’s first ever Rock and Roll night was perhaps not the best idea. The dancing was good for the most part but really, rock and roll and ballroom just don’t mix.

Remember, once again, Brandy was at the top of the leader board with Audrina right behind. And Kurt came in last with Bristol 2nd to last. So did one of the bottom two go home, or was there an upset? Read on to find out.

Parenthood – Recap & Review – Seven Names

Seven Names

Parenthood often straddles the line between drama and comedy. Even at its most heartfelt, it likes to throw the viewers a silly exchange to make things a little lighter in its most serious of episodes.

But when the show strives for an almost entirely emotional hour, it can offer up a poignant, tear-inducing hour of television. There are no clear cut villains in the Braverman universe. But there are double sided struggles that have us trying to decide who to root for. Can you imagine rooting for the man doing the layoffs?

Sometimes NCIS has a case that hits a little too close to home for one of the team. This week it’s Abby feeling the repercussions of getting too involved with a victim. The death of a Naval Scientist is keeping Abby preoccupied, not so much when it comes to solving the crime, but solving the puzzle. The body is covered with equations, none of which make a great deal of sense.

But that won’t stop Abby, will it?

Starting this episode knowing that we get 90 minutes of this amazing show is great! Waiting a week for the extra half hour is worth it. We left off last week with the Sons leaving for Belfast. We see the Belfast charter helping Jimmy O, and we have to wonder where everyone’s loyalties lie.

Start out with a beautiful view over Belfast. Sons look just like they are at home on their bikes out in Ireland. We see Trinity and her mother. We finally see Abel after thinking that he had been sold. They have a lot of history with both clubs.

Raising Hope – Recap & Review – Family Secrets

Family Secrets

The family is opening up boxes from Hope’s mother (now that she’s been executed and all). There are some videos, which the family decides to watch with Hope. The videos are disturbing, so Virginia wants to burn the tapes. And tries to convince Jimmy that lying is a natural part of parenting. The conversation makes for a confession about how many more things they might have lied to Jimmy about.

One of those lies is that Jimmy was allergic to fruit, which he’s not, so he goes on a binge. But that’s not the big secret.

Happy Halloween

Do we know why there was no new episode last week? It’s all forgiven because tonight it’s a double episode! Starting with the obligatory Halloween episode. Maw Maw has gotten into the candy, and has turned into a nine year old.

Jimmy isn’t a fan of Halloween because since he was 3 he’s been scared of a neighbor with a scary mask. The montage shows a great example of Jimmy’s fantastic relationship with his parents, particularly his dad. Except that the guy doing the comforting is also the guy doing the scaring! But his heart was in the right place, he did it for the hugs!

In a season of serious stunt casting who do producers turn to for the Halloween episode of Chuck? Why Freddy Krueger – himself – and not the lame-one from the remake. Chuck’s mom finally shows up too, but we’ll get to that in a minute.

NBC has given the green light for an unprecedented back 11 episodes of Chuck (we were hoping for nine) so there’s lots more Bartowski action coming, but we’re still on the bubble as far as getting a fifth season, so keep watching and telling your friends to watch our friends at the Spy More on Monday nights.

Baby names. Do you all know the story of how you got yours? For me, my parents flipped a coin since my dad wanted one name and my mom wanted another. My mom won, so my dad’s choice became my middle name. Well, the joke’s on my mom, since I go by my middle name and have been for about 10 years now. What about you?

Well, Marshall and Lily worked hard to come up with a name for their future baby in this episode, and it was great.
