We’re so used to the concept of lawyers as ambulance chasers that this episode could be a major eye-opener for many.
It all begins when a young woman, Lara White, comes to the firm looking for representation on a sexual assault case. The police have already refused to prosecute. Her story has inconsistencies. She is strangely calm for someone assaulted only a few hours before. The man in question is Joe Kent, a Nobel Prize winner for his fight for the rights of African women. She is a masseuse with cash issues. And oh, Cary told her to seek out Alicia’s firm.
