A man goes home kind of drunk, only to find his trailer soaked in motor oil and a man in a silver fire suit with a blow torch. The fire suit man is threatening to blow him up if he doesn’t tell where “it” is, so the guy gives in and tells him “in my partners trailer, 30 miles east of Kingman” and the fire suit guy blows him up anyway.

When Allison wakes up (along with Joe) they both appear (to us) to be speaking English, but Allison thinks Joe is speaking gibberish. He can understand her but she can’t understand him. I love Joe’s reaction “Oh man, not today.” And he flops back down.

To quote Cas, is Sam really Sam without his soul? That’s right folks. Sam’s still human but the reason he’s become RoboSam is due to a distinct lack of soul.

This, of course, doesn’t sit well with Dean. Castiel, after performing an angel cavity search on both Sam and Gramps, determines that Sam’s soul is still in the cage. The beat down Dean dished out last episode must have been cathartic because he immediately demands some heavenly assistance in tracking down his baby brother’s soul. After a rather sarcastic reply that of course Dean’s problems come before civil war in Heaven, Castiel vanishes to stop some errant halos and get right back on the Winchester bandwagon.

In the Reagan family there are many different point of views. While they don’t agree on everything, one solid fact they can agree on is that you look out for family. Danny proves this by trying to help his rookie-cop brother learn some alternative methods of law enforcement. Erin is getting a refresher in the lesson while dealing with a gangster and his brother, whom she wants to use to get the bad guy behind bars.

The question arises, is this going too far? Using an innocent family member as a means to an end? What happens when things don’t go exactly as planned?

Owen has called everyone together in the skills lab and they think it will be an easy day. Like Alex says, taking turns on treating a dummy and go for an early lunch. Owen, however, wants to groom them for extreme situations. He is not going to make it easy, and apparently the Weather Gods are with him. He runs into the skills lab telling the them that a plane had to make a emergency landing and collided with a Greyhound bus. There are thirty plus traumas coming in and it’s all hands on deck.

They run down the hallway after Owen only to find the outside area covered in dummies and an ambulance. They are divided into four teams and each group gets nine victims to attend too. Owen tells them that they can only use what they can get their hands on in the waiting ambulance.
