Two Cents & Five Questions With Diedrich Bader, Rizwan Manji & Rebecca Hazlewood (Outsourced)

photo: nbc

Diedrich Bader, Actor
Rizwan Manji, Actor
Rebecca Hazlewood, Actress

On the NBC comedy, Outsourced, the cast has a lot of fun behind the scenes. The show has been criticized for being too heavy on the ethnic jokes and themes, but they were still picked up for a full season. It’s performing well in it’s post The Office time slot. I got a chance to talk to Diedrich Bader (Charlie), Rizwan Manji (Rajiv) and Rebecca Hazlewood (Asha) about these and many other things. It was great talking to them, they are just as funny in person as they are on the show.

The Two Cents: Where do you all see your characters in five years?

It’s Model time! You wanna be on top? Well, do you?!? This week we have go sees and statues! We’re getting down to the nitty-gritty now and I’m so glad that Liz is gone. The other girls never even mention her, so I think they are too.

Chris is hoping for a double elimination. She’s stressed and just wants to get it over with. Jane is featured a little at the beginning too. Not a good sign! Being featured is not a good thing on ANTM!

Tonight’s episode brought back Dana Lewis, the FBI agent played by Marcia Gay Harden. This time, she asked the detectives to investigate a rape- her own. There was also mention of her old friends the Aryans, and of the Ground Zero mosque. Good times.

We open with someone slowly approaching Olivia with a gun. She wakes up to see that it’s Calvin, with a water pistol. There’s a knock at the door. It’s Dana, who asks Olivia to run a rape kit she can’t take to the FBI. When Olivia asks whose it is, Dana says it’s hers.

We’ve been waiting for this for a long time: We finally learn about Kalinda’s sexuality. She’s… oops, you’ll have to wait a bit for that info.

But the episode does start with Blake, the other investigator, slyly threatening to “out” our favorite female snoop. Has he really found out something worth blackmailing her with or is he still fishing? Yeah, I know the answer, but I really am going to make you wait for that.

Glee – Recap & Review – Never Been Kissed

Glee
Never Been Kissed

Original Air Date: Nov 9, 2010

Glee has really lost something this season. Throwing Puck in juvi, themed episodes galore, super righteous Quinn and episodes that go nowhere but to the trash of my DVR. This week, however, we were going to get something new: a realistic crush for Kurt. And that boy needs something to make him smile.

So what could make him smile more than going to an all boys school where the glee club is actually cool? How about the lead singer (a teenage hottie at that…) taking him under his wing and a big surprise for him. Sure there were other storylines but I only cared about his. The previews had the girls botching Bon Jovi so I went in to the episode jaded. Find out how that went below!
