The cold open has the group watching a breaking news broadcast about the cops catching the Scranton Strangler. Gabe suggests they all get back to work but no one does. They are glued to the TV until the cops pass down the street in front of Dunder Mifflin’s building. Michael goes out to collect some of the loose asphalt so his grandchildren can sell it later to buy a spaceship.

Gabe and Erin are having a Glee viewing party at Gabe’s apartment. Everyone agrees to go and Kevin says they can’t not go to the boss’s party. Michael is miffed that everyone thinks Gabe’s the boss. Michael is clearly jealous of Gabe and his pizzas and fancy schmancy oven.

It’s a slow day for the CBI. It’s so slow that Rigsby and Cho are betting over bouncing a ping pong ball into a glass, and Grace is on the phone with O’Loughlin. Jane even complains of the boredom over the phone to Lisbon, who reminds him that boredom is good for homicide detectives. But he will not be thwarted, he is at a roadside fruit stand and by golly he will return with fruit. Except he’s interrupted when a man in a hoodie shoots up the joint and tries to shove Jane into his trunk. How rude.

Jane managed to get a call out to Lisbon before being taken, so the CBI is on this case. They get pointed north as far as the direction the car with Arizona plates by a witness, Sherry Winger. Lisbon pauses and says, “If Jane were here, he’d make some snarky remark about something we missed at the crime scene.” My heart breaks a little.

What does someone do when their entire sense of self is shattered? When a woman who prides herself on her strength and independence is violated? How can she pick up the pieces and make self whole again?

This week’s episode takes us into the aftermath of Charlotte’s brutal assault. The only person who knows the full extent of her horror is Addison, who is bound by medical ethos to silence. Will Addison be able to keep the information to herself? Will Charlotte be able to admit to others that she was raped? Keep reading to find out.

Ok, I admit it: I’ve never seen Indiana Jones. Any of them. Unlike Penny, I fell asleep when someone tried to show me Raiders of the Lost Ark (it was late!). In any event, our favorite gang of geeks is watching Raiders in preparation for the debut of a special extended cut – a whole 21 extra seconds of unseen footage!

Um. Wow. That’s really all I have to say about this episode. Unfortunately, it’s not the good kind of wow. Let’s see. 1) The first secret of the season (it was announced before the season opener that all the characters would have a secret revealed this season) was pretty anti-climactic. 2) Okay, so we get that Garcia is kinda filling JJ’s role for a while, but putting her in a blonde wig in front of the press? A little bit of a slap in the face. 3) The twist to the plot was not only totally predictable, but shamelessly lifted from one of horror’s most classic films.

Color me unimpressed. If the actors in this show weren’t top notch (all the time), even when the script isn’t, this would have been almost unbearable. But let’s get on with it.

Survivor – Recap & Review – Running the Camp

The low down Jane shoots her mouth off about being Marty’s superior both physically and mentally but the episode shows she is neither. But, does it matter in the end? Who really is running the camp right now? Marty? Jane? Sash and Brenda? And please, can we have Naonka just stop talking?

Pre-credits: In the previouslies: “Everything blew up when Naonka took Alina on a food-stealing mission.” Really show? You think we’re that dumb? That we don’t remember that Naonka did that on her own and only shared the food with Alina later? Sigh.
