When Rick tells Daryl his plans for Michonne, Daryl is a good soldier and agrees. But he is not happy about it. Both he and Hershel know that these decisions, these wars,it isn’t the kind of people they are. They are good. But because they are good, they will go along with their leader. They’ll help him take Michonne to the Governor.

Needing one more man to help, Rick tries to enlist Merle, but Merle actually becomes the voice of reason, in a sort-of reverse psychology way. He describes what the Governor will do to Michonne. How Rick will need wire to tie her up, something she can’t chew through. To do this to Michonne, Rick will need to become like him: a heartless killer. And no, he’s not gonna help.

The Good Wife – Recap & Review – Death of a Client

The Good Wife
Death of a Client

Original Air Date: Mar 24, 2013

Patricia Morris Buckley — Sr. Staff Writer
pmb@thetwocentscorp.com

Sex scenes, fistfights, a shocking pregnancy, a deliberate lie to break attorney-client privilege and the wonderful John Noble as a guest star. This might have been one of the best Good Wife episodes ever.

We started with the Shamrock Ball and the battle between Mike Kresteva and Peter for the cardinal’s hug/endorsement and the 8,000 Catholic votes that come with it. I am really enjoying Matthew Perry as the slandering, manipulative and glad handing gubernatorial competition. It may be my second favorite role of his, although nothing will ever top Chandler Bing.

TBS has renewed its hit original comedy Cougar Town, produced by ABC Studios and starring Courteney Cox, Christa Miller, Busy Philipps, Dan Byrd, Ian Gomez, Josh Hopkins and Brian Van Holt. The network has ordered 13 episodes for season five, which is expected to launch in 2014. Cougar Town joined the TBS lineup in January for the show’s fourth season. It currently airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. (ET/PT), with the season finale slated for April 9.

“Cougar Town has been everything we hoped it would be: a smart, big-hearted, laugh-out-loud comedy that shines a bright light on the TBS brand,” said Michael Wright, president, head of programming for TBS, TNT and Turner Classic Movies (TCM). “This season, the brilliant cast and immensely creative production team on Cougar Town have crafted their best episodes yet, and we couldn’t be happier inviting them back for more.”

Keith G – TwoCents Reviewer

We start this week with a young Amanda reading Mason Treadwell’s book about David Clarke. Eli comes down the stairs, returning from his new home placement to visit her. In present day, Emily finds out Eli has been in contact with their foster-mother, Ms. Hayward (Ms. H as the foster kids call her). Emily tells Aiden that she cannot hurt Eli, but agrees that she needs to take care of him soon. Aiden tells Emily that Daniel has been keeping him out of the loop lately and is concerned about this. Emily tells Aiden to not worry, because she knows Daniel will confide in someone soon. Emily makes a lunch date with Daniel.

Conrad and Victoria worry about the Initiative’s hold on Daniel and that he may be confiding about the plot in Emily. Eli tells Victoria and Emily that he wants to sponsor Mrs. H’s home as the Amanda Clarke Foundation’s first project. Victoria agrees to this. Eli gives Emily a letter from David Clarke that he had found in Mrs. H’s home as a child. He believes that Mrs. H kept more letters from David without giving them to Emily. Eli wants to return these to Emily.

Jules – News Editor

A running theme on this show is that our choices reflect our character and consequently determine our future. But is there a way to redeem those choices and ultimately change who you are? We can only hope so.

We open in Phuket, October 24, 2011. If you do the timezone math, at 8:15am (nice Lost reference), it’s when time started moving in Storybrooke. August awakens to his leg turning into wood. Of course, no one else can see it.

This week’s episode opens with Lana being jolted awake in a Moroccan hotel room by the morning call to prayer. Archer is, of course, naked on the bed sleeping off a beer and hashish hangover. Not surprisingly, Lana hates Morocco (due to the lack of sleep and the extra babysitting Archer requires) and Archer loves it, mostly due to the Hashish, but also because of the unbeatable rug prices. The pair are in Tangiers on a mission to extract a foreign agent, a Mr Kazak, who has for some reason agreed to join the ISIS team. After a short but eventful car chase, Lana and Archer manage to track down the operative via a GPS tracker. When they arrive at the doorstep of said operative, Archer kicks down the door mid-bicker, which unleashes the world’s biggest dog right on to Lana’s chest. Thankfully, its also the world’s heaviest drooler most affectionate dog, and despite Lana’s protestations of “Archer, would you get the damn dog off my tits,” he proceeds to lick her in to oblivion.

Tonight, Dale and the Postmaster General are meeting in the Oval Office when Skip barges in. Apparently, Skip bought boots and they have not arrived yet, even though it is longer than the time for shipment. The next thing we know, Xander comes walking in – wearing the boots!

Marshall gives his briefing, saying that the leader of France and his wife are coming to the White House for a visit. We also hear that Emily and Dale are going out on a date to a play. Becca and DB are having a date night at the White House. Let’s see how it all plays out….

As we begin tonight’s episode, we see Skip on a job interview. What does he want to be more than anything in the world? An astronaut! What is the problem with this? Skip hasn’t graduated college! What does Skip do to try and fix this? He goes to his father, the President, and asks him to change the law about being a college graduate to become an astronaut, which Dale will not do. What will Skip do next? We are about to find out!

Becca has been appointed to a committee by her father. She, of course, has to do a lot of research and put together an absolutely huge binder of information and ideas that she is going to bring to the meeting. Becca has admitted she had to do a lot of editing in order to limit it to one binder.

Comic Book Men – Recap & Review – Cryptozoic Men

Comic Book Men
Cryptozoic Men

Original Air Date: Mar 21, 2013

Jeff L – Señor Staff Writer
JeffL@thetwocentscorp.com

We open on Kevin asking the Comic Book Men if anything “big” came into the shop lately. Walt tells the story of the customer selling his Millennium Falcon Extraordinaire a 6’ long replica of the famous Star Wars ship used as a display piece at toy stores.

Later, Walt comes up with an idea for the guys to create their own comic book. Mike comes up with a character for the comic book called Wormhole and Ming sketches out this crazy half man/half pig character, but none of them seem to make the cut. Walt and the guys pitch “Cryptozoic Man” to Dynamite Comics — the same folks who publish a few of Kevin’s comics. They get a little help in the pitch from a Stan Lee via video and they play a pitch video that Bryan directed. The video features Ming and some other familiar faces pretending to be cryptids. Dynamite green lights the project.
