Way to go, show! This was a MUCH better effort, possibly the best episode thus far. There were a couple of things that were a little telegraphed but a few actual surprises and a few very interesting development. The episode’s pacing was good and the characters continued to develop in ways that both seemed natural and intriguing. I continue to want to know what will happen to the Powells and George and Katie. It finally feels as if the show’s creative people are allowing us to move beyond was starting to feel like a pilot extended over multiple episodes. Plus? Amy Acker! Yay!

NCIS – Recap & Review – Enemies Foreign

NCIS
Enemies Foreign

Original Air Date: Nov 16, 2010

Maria – TwoCents Reviewer

The episode starts with a woman, using her seemingly innocuous device (unless you watch crime shows, like CSI: NY S03E15 Some Buried Bones) to steal the credit card details of numerous people. She collects the data, goes shopping, and is then promptly arrested by the NCIS. It seems like one of the cards she copied digitally belongs to a very bad and secret person indeed.

I don’t think the lady will be stealing again any time soon.

Everyone gets sent on a wild goose chase for a little black book. No, not Barney Stinson’s no matter how legendary that is. This belongs to an antiques dealer named Sebastian Renner and it contains a who’s who of top players in the spy game. Why does this concern NCIS? Well it all goes back to that innocous fake ID Hetty pulled out a few episodes back. For more on the first part of this mystery, click on the link below!

The fascinating thing about Parenthood is that there are no explosions, high speed chases, or gun battles. What it does have is a large extended family that often resembles shades of our own. How many of us have families that include a blowhard, a crier, a self-doubter, or a neurotic? How many of us are that person?

This week the four main siblings weren’t the main focus on the episode. In fact, we only saw Julia for a brief second. Camille, Zeek, Haddie, Amber, and Kristina took center stage for us. And how did the individual stories do? Keep reading to find out…

I had two thoughts at 10 PM this Tuesday. The first was “Great, time for another episode of Detroit 1-8-7!” The second was “OMG, 50 hours until the midnight premiere of Harry Potter and Deathly Hallows: Part 1!” Don’t worry; I’ll be focusing on the former here.

The first case investigates the extremely violent apparent murder of a young man tied to – guess what? – drugs. Meanwhile, Longford and Mahajan look at a gambler killed while trying to earn money for his daughter’s organ transplant.
