Sometimes so much happens in a half hour of television that you find yourself dizzy and short of breath just trying to keep up. Such was tonight’s Modern Family.

Five different stories intertwined to culminate together. Each got ample screen time. Each was equally as humorous, if not side splittingly laugh out loud funny. As we all take a deep breath, let’s dive in…

The Good Wife– Recap & Review – Bad Girls

How smart is Miranda Cosgrove? Instead of fighting her Disney image with lurid, drunken public behavior, she takes a guest star role on TV’s best drama, one with a brilliant and respected cast.

Oh, there is the chuckle in that she’s playing the role of Sloan Burchfield, a Disney star who is trying to shed her wholesome image with wild behavior and underage drinking. It’s nice casting for The Good Wife, but even better for Cosgrove to act out on the screen rather than performing lap dances or going into rehab (you hear me Miley and Lindsey?).

The last time we saw ADA Sonya Paxton on this show, she was being removed from court for being drunk during a trial. She returns tonight and, needless to say, this stirs up some drama. Then again, the episode does that well enough on its own.

The episode opens at a Take Back the Night rally Kathleen is attending. Elliot shows up and she volunteers him as a speaker. Just then, a girl runs up, her boyfriend following. She accuses him of rape while he acts bewildered. The crowd cheers as Elliot arrests him.

Will and Figgins are sick. Sue is principal. Terri is back (GAH!). Gwyneth Paltrow sings with a yellow umbrella (kudos to fellow staff writer for the following joke: Does that mean she’s the mother?? HA!). There’s a tater tot revolt. And there are mini Gleeks!

The most important question of all is how did GP do? But again, there’s mini Gleeks so really, does GP matter??

Overall Episode Grade: B (Only because of the mini Gleeks)
Random Thought: Why does Terri keep coming back??? And thanks to Anne for helping me realize Rachel’s necklace says “Finn” and not “Lea.” LOL

It is that time of the week again! I usually watch the past week’s episode 10 times, but I could not watch it again this week. I cannot wait to see this week! 2 weeks left… Sadness.

Jax and his sister are kind of funny. I love this. Now that they actually know that they are blood related, it is the way that I thought that it would be. From day one I thought that they would be each other’s shoulder to lean on. I love it!
