Okay, so I’m not really a nature person. There are perfectly good roads to get me where I want to go without hiking through the wilderness. I imagine central heating is a more effective way to stay warm than a camp fire. There is a reason we, as humans, stopped living out in the elements, started building sturdy shelter, and eventually created the mattress. I will never understand the enjoyment people get from camping.

Also, there are bugs out there. How does that not bother people?

Remember how I wondered about that Penny/Leonard hinting last week? Well, they kicked it up a few notches this week!

In our usual geekified opener, the boys are trying to figure out who the bravest person in the Marvel Universe is. It would be whoever got a prostate exam from Wolverine, except that “Wolverine has never shown the slightest interest in preventing prostate cancer”. When the pizza arrives, Leonard walks over to get Penny, but is baffled when an older man answers the door. It baffles him even further when Penny introduces Leonard to her dad and then gives Leonard a long kiss goodbye and shuts the door.

Glee Music Second Only To Elvis!?

photo: fox

The music from FOX’s smash hit Glee has reached another amazing milestone this week with their rendition of Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” debuting at #1 in digital track sales.

This is the first time a Glee track has landed at #1, the cast’s version of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin’” reached #2 on digital track sales charts in May 2009. With an impressive 214,000 tracks sold, “Teenage Dream” has the highest debut week sales of any Glee track to date.

The Glee cast surpasses James Brown this week for the #2 most entries on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Last month Billboard magazine reported that Glee had replaced The Beatles for the #3 most entries on their Hot 100 chart, with James Brown at #2 with 91 entries. This week 3 new Glee songs appear on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, taking their grand total of entries to 93. According to Billboard, only Elvis Presley has more entries than Glee with a total of 108 entries on their Hot 100 chart.

Let me just start off by saying that I laughed so hard during The Middle last night! The show jumps right in with Frankie (Patricia Heaton) running around the house on a Saturday morning with so many errands to run. (Don’t we all?) Anyway, Frankie insists on taking her smallest child Brick(Atticus Shafer) with her because he is too young to stay at home by his self which Brick disagrees with.

Meanwhile Mike (Frankie’s husband) is having his own girl drama with his geeky daughter Sue(Eden Sher). Mike(Neil Flynn) overhears that a girl is inviting a lot of girls over for a sleep over but not Sue because she is such a geek. This girl also invites all of Sue’s best friends without telling Sue anything. (We all know what the high school drama feels like!)

Alex Trebek To Appear On How I Met Your Mother

who will be looking at their life with trebek?

According to TVFanatic, Jeopardy! host Alex Trebek will make a guest appearance on How I Met Your Mother in December.

The episode, which will air December 13th, is being described as “A Christmas Carol-type episode” to get the people heading back on their paths.

MyTwoCents: We all know Marshall is not in the place that he’s supposed to be professionally, Robin is not happy being single and Ted still hasn’t met the mother (or, more appropriate, WE haven’t me the mother). I’m hoping this episode will lead everyone back to where they are supposed to be (and lead us more towards the mother maybe?).

What do you think? Think Trebek can pull it off? Leave your two cents below!

Why did this show make such a huge deal about Travis going off to college? I think he is on the show (and at home) more now than when he was in high school. Tonight is all about him and his new girlfriend (Kylie and him have an “open” relationship so is it really a “new” girlfriend or just a girlfriend?). Plus, the gang will have a new hang out, much to the dismay of Grayson.

Read on to find out what happened on It’s Okay to Watch a Show Called Cougar Town.

The low down This episode serves as prime evidence that one should not ever feel comfortable in this game. Things can change quickly and you need to be able to adapt just as quickly. Sometimes, the game situation changes, like it did for Marty earlier with the tribe switch. Other times, it’s just the feelings toward you amongst the other players.
