It’s a new week in Vegas and we have two interesting cases to focus on. We also have some drama between Vartann and Catherine. I don’t like him and I’ll bet he has something to do with her quitting. But that’s just me.

The episode opens with two women comparing the losers they met that night. They wonder where all the good men are. Suddenly, a body crash through the glass awning above them. I hate it when that happens!

Working nights and sleeping during the day is never easy. Add to that the traumatic events that happened just a few months ago and you know it is almost impossible. Avery wakes up screaming, haunted by vivid images of his friends, Reid and Percy.

Traumatic events have to be dealt with, and for most people that happens directly after the event takes place. Avery seemed to be fine for a while; he was joking around using his good looks and twinkly eyes to get Altman exactly where he wanted her. But lately, he has been dealing with feelings of rejection, thinking that no one wants to work with him, and night terrors. He is easily aggravated, very stubborn, and can quickly lose his temper.

It’s been an emotional few weeks for our doctors at PW/OW (they really need a new name already). While Charlotte is the actual victim, each person is suffering in their own way. Last week, everyone put things together and figured out the truth behind what really happened, except for Cooper.

So this week, everyone knows and Charlotte isn’t happy. She just wants to be left alone. But what about Cooper? How will he handle the news? And how will Charlotte react to pointing Lee out in a lineup? And to top it all off, Pete talking about his family all this time wasn’t just for fun: His brother shows up asking for help for their sick mother, who is still in prison.

While not as side-splitting as last week’s episode, tonight’s Community installment was still pretty darn good. Dean Pelton discovers that Jeff has a class on his schedule that doesn’t exist (Or DOES IT? Dun Dun Dunnnnn!). Jeff claims to be taking an independent study with “Professor Professorson” on conspiracy theories.

Jeff is appalled that the Dean would try and take away his class credit, so he marches Dean Pelton and a disbelieving Annie over to the professor’s office, which…. turns out to be a supply cabinet. Ingeniously, Jeff then claims that the supply closet stunt must be part of the class! The Dean remains skeptical.

Let’s just say you can hear Jerry Seinfeld’s voice saying “Newman” as the episode starts with guest Wayne Knight in his version of a Willie Wonka outfit. As the record breaking chocolate bar is cut in half, our ooey gooey creamy goodness that is oozing out, is the remains of some poor soul named Harriet- the spy. Yes, like the book.

On another note, Cam is dealing with Michele going to college and she is not all that happy with her choices.

Cold open: Michael accidentally trips the breaker and that knocks the server out and no one knows the password to bring it back up. Kevin suggests trying “big boobs”, Dwight helpfully suggests spelling it with a z. And that’s the password. “Big Boobz”. Yeah.

Ryan has set up a business that will notify you on every format (email, fax, text, landline, etc.) when you have a new WUPHF message. Also, WUPHF is pronounced “wuff”. Just so you know.

30 Rock – Recap & Review – College

30 Rock
College

Original Air Date: Nov 18, 2010

Laura Kelley – Associate Staff Writer

This week on 30 Rock, Jack mourned his separation from his baby, the GE microwave division, while Liz and the writers discovered that Jack is the voice of an online dictionary called Pronouncify. Jack was distraught to discover that the microwave division is succeeding without him, which is as ludicrous as the time Liz tried to get him to air four shows about cake.

Jack and Liz both seek to recapture the joyous beginnings of college; Jack’s goal is to have that experience without having to clean a monkey lab, and Liz desperately wants to be popular, so she uses money she won to open a bar tab for the crew, making her feel “like Hitler in Germany.”

The Mentalist – Recap & Review – Red Moon

Like all of my favorite episodes of this show, the actual crime takes a near backseat to the utter amount of crazy that Jane generates and attracts into his orbit. While out communing with nature — a deer to be precise, I’d like to make a joke about “Jane doe” but nothing really comes to mind, so consider it made — Jane and Lisbon are, in fact, responding to an interesting call. Three bodies, each with three methods of killing, arranged out in the middle of an orchard. These bodies include two police sheriff deputies, and Keely Farlow, who was engaged to a deputy. Jane wants the case — or maybe, as he says, “vice versa.”

CBI starts to set up camp in the sheriff’s office (these guys are winners, with a wifi password like “1234”), and Ellis Mars, a seemingly helpful private citizen, comes in and asks to speak to the person heading the investigation. When Grace offers her services, he declares, “You are far too young and pretty to have any authority in the matter.” Yeah, she’s also got a gun and she will hurt you, you misogynistic jerkface.
