This week we have Jeff getting a little tired of dipping into his wallet every time there is a collection for something at work… man, do I know that feeling! Russ on the other hand gets a taste of his own medicine on the ol “love em and leave em” move.

House – Recap & Review – Small Sacrifices

House
Small Sacrifices

Original Air Date: Nov 22, 2010

Shannon – Associate Editor

This week, we’ve got a crucifixion reinactment with a man carrying a large wooden cross on his back. The guys he’s with tie him to the cross and then drive nails through the man’s hands. Gross. They stand him up on the cross and then he starts puking blood. I don’t think Jesus did that.

Cuddy and House argue over his lying to her while she gives him the case. House also tries to get out of going to the wedding for the hospital’s chairman of the board but Cuddy won’t let him off the hook.

The Walking Dead – Recap & Review – Vatos

The Walking Dead
Vatos

Original Air Date: Nov 21, 2010

Rachel – Sr. Managing Editor
rachel@thetwocentscorp.com

It should be no surprise that a zombie apocalypse brings out the crazy. When Jim takes it upon himself to dig dozens of holes on the ridge above the camp and refuses to explain himself to anyone, it’s clear he’s gone completely wack-a-doo. Fearing for the camp’s safety, Shane ties Jim to a tree until he can calm down and come back to his senses.

Meanwhile (and speaking of crazy), after wrapping up the severed hand and stowing it in Glenn’s backpack, the “Let’s Rescue Merle” group follows the bloody trail from the department store roof into some offices below. Merle is a resourceful guy: the group finds evidence that he cauterizes his stump and moved on. There is really no way they are going to find Merle so they move on to Trip Reason #2: getting that bag of guns Rick lost by the tank. A little game planning later, Glenn gets the bag… only to be taken hostage by a smarmy group gang of Living. Way to pull together against the zombies, people.

Some guys are working security, driving along, minding their business, when they stop and pick up a huge bank deposit. About the worst security of a bank pick up I’ve eve seen, but okay. Then some ninja’s come down from the roof, shoot everyone and take off with the cash. There are a LOT of pedestrians around and no one seems to notice three guys getting shot…

McGarrett is remodeling after the big shoot out from last week. Danno shows up and takes McGarrett to the crime scene.

Mike and Molly are going to Mike’s mothers house for dinner. Before they get out of the car they work out an exit strategy. They have one more kiss, but it’s interrupted by Mike’s mother knocking on the window. She’s a treat!

Seriously, potential mother-in-law from hell. But she bought Molly a present!

Sorry for not being around last week when our favorite pair left got eliminated (well, mine, anyway). I was busy watching an actual race, in the form of NASCAR races as their Chase wound down. That stuff is CRAZY and I highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys any type of dramatic ending.

But I digress and I’m back in the real world now, watching the remaining teams heading to Bangladesh, where there are rickshaws (of course) and a new part of the race – the DOUBLE U-Turn! What’s a double u-turn you ask? Pretty simple. Instead one team u-turning one team, two teams can u-turn two teams.

The Top Five Things I learned From The Amazing Race 17.

Dexter – Recap & Review – Teenage Wasteland

Dexter
Teenage Wasteland

Original Air Date: Nov 21, 2010

Karen Belgrad – Associate Staff Writer

Dexter has always had a lot on his plate. Lately he’s been dealing with being a single father, a full-time (when he feels like it) job as a blood spatter expert, hunting down and killing bad guys, and a nervous house guest. It’s hard enough for him to keep up appearances without the addition of a preteen stepdaughter, a wiser than normal target, and unknown surveillance.

There are only three episodes left of season five, so it might seem like an odd time to bring in parenting issues. But Dexter’s largest problem has always been trying to have it all (and dodging other killers). So how’s he handling things this week?
