It must be the holiday season once again for the gang over at the Charles Bartowski Subway Sandwich Hour to start busting out the tinsel and the Die Hard references.

This time Morgan gets in on the yippie-ki-yay action but at least Chuck gets his mojo back by episode’s end and Linda Hamilton finally gets to use the “Come with me if you want to live” line from the Terminator franchise.

The Event – Recap & Review – Everything Will Change

The Event
Everything Will Change

Original Air Date: Nov 29, 2010

Meg – Sr. Reviewer

It’s our last The Event episode until February. For an episode entitled “Everything Will Change,” not that much really did change… did it? Sure we discovered some more alien sleeper agents and evil secret master plans, but overall we’re pretty status quo. Laila is epically clueless, Sean is still a superhero, the Veep stays silent, and President Handsome remains ever so determined (and dreamy) to take down the alien threat.

I’ll give the show credit, however, for one potential game-changing twist at the end. What happened and how do our heroes and alien time traveler troupe fare? Read on for the full recap and review!

Happy post-Thanksgiving return, 90210! What are our under-clothed, over-privileged friends in the 90210-niverse thankful for? Well, Debbie’s thankful for sexy time with Ryan (my eyes! My eyes!), Teddy is (finally!) thankful for Ian, and Ade really appreciates, well…. herself. Tonight we’ve got half-confessions, impulsive smoochings, parking lot beatings, and a hole lot of hula gear!

Wildfire

In the wake of the Walker attack, the living at camp are left with the grizzly task of disposing of the bodies. The Walkers, or Geeks as Glenn likes to call them, are burned, and the dead humans get a swift pick axe to the skull and a burial. Andrea, however, is having a problem letting go of her sister Amy. The campers let her have some time with the body.

And as if Jim’s last 24 hours couldn’t get any worse, he got a little love bite from a Walker and is slowly turning into one of them. With Jim’s sickness and the fact that Walkers are brazenly coming into camp, Rick feels like the only answer is to pull up stakes and head to the CDC compound outside of Atlanta. Shane, of course, disagrees and wants to go to Fort Benning in Texas.

It’s final four time, fans! So, with 98% confidence, I can most likely guarantee a non-elimination tonight (if the race sticks with tradition).

This week should be interesting when the teams head to Hong Kong. We know from the previews that Nick and Vicki get in a fight (or he just makes her cry), the girls dance and sing for some reason and you know that in Hong Kong there’s going to be an awesomely bad food challenge!

The Top Four Things I learned From The Amazing Race 17.

Dexter
In The Beginning

As season five of Dexter winds down, our annual game of cat and mouse has begun to intensify. Dexter and Lumen know what Jordan is up to. Jordan knows what they are up to. Liddy is figuring out what Dexter has going on. And Deb is closing in on the Barrel Girl Killer… and noticing a pattern.

Dexter is always at its strongest when all of the story lines converge together. This week had every main character pointed in a sole direction of Jordan Chase and his associates. And Deb once again proved that she is the smartest detective in the group when it comes to police matters. The hour moved at a brisk pace and ended with an inevitable event that still seemed surprising.

Cougar Town
When The Time Comes

Original Air Date: Nov 24, 2010

Farrah Kaye – Sr. Editor
farrah@thetwocentscorp.com

It’s time for Jules and Grayson to host their first Thanksgiving together. How do they start their festive weekend off? Grocery shopping with his ex and a poorly-timed allergic reaction. That’s gonna be great.

So what could make things better? An always-optimistic Andy, a mumbling Bobby and a Katy Perry-imitating Laurie. Yep, it all happens on this week’s episode of Regretfully, We Give You Cougar Town. (Man, I love those new titles…)
