Get A Room

Get a room. I say it all the time to my friends who are overly affectionate. But in the world of the Walkers, getting a room means getting away from each other. But can they really get away from each other – ever?

Sarah plans a nice night in a hotel for her and Luc who is heading off to China for two months (we all know it will end in disaster) and Nora and Kitty have decided to have some fun with new romances in the same hotel. Oh, this is gonna be Walkerific.

My Two Cents – Using Amazing Race as an Educational Tool Turns Nasty this Season

For the past four seasons, The Amazing Race has been a family thing at our house. Every Sunday, we all curl up on the couch and travel the world via our TV. And due to our loyal viewing, our kids have learned some valuable lessons. Such as:

* Cowboys are the nicest guys in the world
* Globetrotters can’t tell time
* U-turn the bitchy couple (yes, I mean the lesbian pair)
* Don’t stop and pee if you’re close to the Pit Stop
* Don’t let your brother lead you all over a stinking forest, even if he’s older
* If a watermelon smacks your face, shake it off – the same goes for giant cheese wheels

Of course, there are also lessons about never giving up, being careful whom you trust and reading the clue thoroughly. Oh, and bad taxi drivers can really cost you $1 million!

All is being revealed on Wisteria Lane this week. Secret loves are coming out in the open. Confessions about feelings of inadequacy are made, and Paul Young is finally revealing his plan of revenge to the neighborhood.

For a dead lady, Mary Alice still has a lot of concern for her neighborhood. This week in particular she wonders about the neighbors themselves. Are they trustworthy? Will they be there if you need them? Well, if her husband is that neighbor, mostly likely not.

Dear TV Claus…

Hi gang! Happy Holidays to you all! For the month of December, the crew here at TheTwoCents.com will be writing our letters to TV Claus. A powerful being who transcends all beliefs to bring us the wonderment of good television. You’ll see a new letter to TV Claus almost daily here and we hope you’ll chime in your TwoCents to TV Claus too!

My TV Wish List,

This season of TV shows has been great for the ones still around, here is my wish list for the rest of the season…

1. Please bring back Chloe on Smallville so she and Oliver can have a happy ending by the time the final season is over.

2. Can Elena and Stefan get back together on Vampire Diaries and for Jeremy and Bonnie to finally become a couple?

3. Put Lee Pace in a new TV show, or rather bring back Pushing Daisies!

4. Put the cast of Smallville in new projects as soon as the show ends so that we can continue seeing them every week! Like the possibility of Justin Hartley on the new Dallas !

5. Please let the Veronica Mars movie happen, the fans need closure!

6. Last but not least, please pick up tv shows that are allowed to last more than 2 episodes like Lone Star!

Thank you and I hope at least a few of these will come true to make my TV watching season even better!
Addison

Tonight is the second most important leg of the race. Tonight will decide who races in the final leg towards the $1 million prize. More importantly, it will get us closer to something never done in TAR history: an all-female winning team. If Nick/Vicki or Thomas/Jill go home, the odds go up with Brook/Claire and Nat/Kat still around.

Also, for those who rooted for them, since leaving the race, Chad and Stephanie have gotten married and are expecting a child.

And now …

Tick, tick, tick… that is the sound of season five nearing its end. We’ve followed Dexter and Lumen’s adventures in homicide closely, but we don’t know how it will end. All we know after tonight is that the excitement and peril has certainly stepped up.

Dexter and Lumen are after Jordan Chase. Deb is after the Barrel Girl Killer. Jordan chase is after Dexter and Lumen. Liddy is after Dexter and Lumen. And Quinn is avoiding Liddy as much as he can. Which cat will catch their prey tonight?

Supernatural returned from its one week hiatus the best way it knows how – bloody, goretastic fun. Not only did we have Monster Gitmo, a soul-searching revelation and the return of badass!Dean, but there was also porn. Yes, even angels aren’t immune from our baser pleasures. Hold on to your shotguns and read on after the jump!

This episode was crammed full of why the face? moments, so lets break it down shall we?

CSI: NY – Recap & Review – Shop Till You Drop

Shop Till You Drop

Original Air Date: Dec 3, 2010

Maria – TwoCents Reviewer

CSI: New York’s 150th episode: this should be good. Jo Danville has managed to drag her boss, Mac Taylor, into Christmas shopping. Whilst they wait for the window display to be revealed, Mac notices a pickpocket. Taylor arrests the pickpocket, and at that moment, the display is revealed… along with the dying body of a man.

The deceased is the store manager, Richard Grossman. The scene shows evidence of a struggle: Blood, which looks to belong to the perpetrator; skin left on a broken light; a partial USB drive; bloody footprints which lead to counter staff Tracy Parker. Her shoe print differs from the one at the scene but she was giving away beauty kits which could be used to clean up an injury.

We are reminded about Joe’s mother and her cancer, and how Allison lied to her about her future, telling her she had many more years. In the now, on a cellular level, the bad cells are multiplying FAST. The MRI shows a massive brain tumor, and the doctor’s prognosis is not good.

Allison knows what’s up when Joe’s mom calls him early in the morning, and she’s visited by Joe’s father. He tells her that Joe needs to go out and see her right away. So Allison convinces Joe he needs to go see her.

Is anybody else out there pumped up for Blue Bloods even more since the NKOTBSB performance at the AMAs? Oh, it’s just me. Sorry!

Since we had a week off from the show (which did great in Black Friday ratings, by the way!), let us refresh. Jamie is questioning Joe’s death (and the Blue Templar’s involvement in it) on top of breaking up with Sidney, Danny has a permanent partner in the form of Jackie, and Sunday dinners are still the same.

Tonight continues with Danny working the night shift, Jamie digging deeper into Joe’s death and Frank having to make a tough decision about an old friend.
