This episode has been one I have been waiting to see! You know it is going to be funny when it is Christmas time on The Middle. The show starts off with Frankie telling Mike the bad news that her parents will be staying for 12 days this year instead of 4.

As the shows goes on Frankie and Mike realize that there kids do not appreciate any of the gifts that they give them each year and the proof is in the basement were all the unopened gifts are from the past few years. So Frankie has a “a ha” moment and decides to have a simple Christmas this year. When Frankie give this whole speech to the kids, there first thought is no gifts! Just to let everybody know, that Sue has had her cross country outfit on basically the whole season.

The low down
Stop for just a moment. Hear that? That quietness? That sanity? That’s the sound of no Naonka. Ahhhh. Relief. It’s as great as I knew it would be. This episode focuses on Sash. What will Sash do? Who will he side with? Who will be a better job of wooing Sash? Sash, Sash, Sash.

I hope you like Sash because this episode gives you a huge dose of him.

Wow, I don’t think I’ve ever loved Phil this much. I’m not going to lie, I’ve always had a small crush on him, but last night; this school-girl crush turned into full-blown love. I have actual envy for his children and wife. To be a part of that family would be nothing short of amazing. However, Phil wouldn’t be who he was without the whole family behind him.

Let’s dive into the episode to see why my love for Phil and the whole extended family is so strong.

Dear TV Claus…

Hi gang! Happy Holidays to you all! For the month of December, the crew here at TheTwoCents.com will be writing our letters to TV Claus. A powerful being who transcends all beliefs to bring us the wonderment of good television. You’ll see a new letter to TV Claus almost daily here and we hope you’ll chime in your TwoCents to TV Claus too!

My TV Wishlist,

1) I wish that Joss Whedon could get a show on TV and last more than a season. ( Preferably not on FOX)

2) I wish that Lee Pace had a show again and I could watch him every week. 🙂

3) I wish there could be a LOST anniversary special revealing more island secrets.

4) I wish that there could be a Green Arrow spin off series from Smallville. I would tune in. Believe me!

5) I wish Booth’s girlfriend on Bones would take an exit. Not a fatal one, just make her go away.

6) I wish some Firefly alums would guest star on Castle.

Thanks,
Alexis

The Sing Off – Recap & Review – The Top 8

The Sing Off was on Monday. Glee was last night. Which was better? Let’s just say Monday’s The Sing Off just got deleted from my DVR to make room for tonight’s. Watching Glee reminded me of how much raw talent was on The Sing Off. Sure, I could do without the matching outfits, but sometimes I love the bright colors and odd leggings. Tonight’s episode is modern hits and a special appearance by last year’s winner, NOTA!

Who will go home? Who will stay? Will the ‘Poofs still wear tuxedos? Read on to find out!

A Very Glee Christmas

Here’s the deal. The Glee Christmas album came out weeks ago and I already was weary of this episode, being one of the many Hanukkah-celebrating fans. I noticed something odd. With two Jewish characters, no Hanukkah songs. Rachel Berry would not be okay with that. So this made made me wonder – what is behind the episode?

Within the first few minutes, the secret is out of the bag: Brittany still believes in Santa! And that’s pretty much what the whole episode is about.

Warehouse 13 – Recap & Review – Secret Santa

Warehouse 13
Secret Santa

Original Air Date: Dec 7, 2010

Rachel M – Associate Staff Writer
rachelm@thetwocentscorp.com

Continuing the SyFy holiday fun is a special episode of Warehouse 13. Since the show is based in South Dakota, the winter is intense. Micah is having a blast, nailing Pete in the back of the head with a snow ball. In the office, Claudia has gone Christmas crazy, especially because her brother Josh is in the house.

Claudia is so happy to have people to spend Christmas with, but Pete and Micah are planning to go home. And when Artie arrives, he is the original Scrooge. Especially when the mistletoe makes him kiss Josh. Out in LA, Harry Dresden (aka actor Paul Blackthorne) is multi-tasking video chat with his daughter and working. When he hangs up he hears a noise, someone is upstairs, and they’re destroying stuff! We never see the intruder, all we see is a little ball of red light escape up the chimney. Weird.
