Two and a Half Men has been a bit odd lately and in a recent interview, recurring guest star Jane Lynch said the writers are using Charlie Sheen’s real-life antics for storylines. But eventually that’s gonna dry up and they need new stuff, right? Right.

This week things get a bit awkward for Alan when he thinks Charlie is hitting on Lyndsey because everyone knows Charlie can’t have a woman as a friend. Or can he?

Happy New Year everyone!  It is not, however such a happy new year on Wisteria Lane.  Despite being shot in what seemed like the heart, Paul Young is alive and well, and I’m sure plotting his revenge.

The clean up process has begun after last month’s (last week in show time) riot and the housewives are trying to put their lives back together.

Brothers & Sisters – Recap & Review – Scandalized

Brothers & Sisters
Scandalized

Original Air Date: Jan 2 , 2011

I’ve recently been watching first season reruns of Brothers & Sisters on Reelzchannel. It took me a while to realize what was different about the show and I finally realized what had changed. The storylines are so … separate nowadays. Between Ojai Foods and politics, the siblings used to overlap and interact with each other, not just react to life events.

That’s not to say that current story lines are bad, but I wish they intertwined more. Kevin and Scotty are looking to adopt. Why isn’t Kitty, who adopted Evan (the missing child) more involved in helping them? Justin’s working as a paramedic and Nora isn’t calling him every five minutes to make sure he’s safe? And where was Sarah this entire hour!?! Speaking of this hour, let’s recap and comment on the Walker shenanigans.

Winter/ Spring 2011 TV Preview – New Show Descriptions

photo: syfy

Being Human
Mondays on Syfy
9PM ET
Series Premiere: January 17

This January, Syfy debuts its newest original scripted series “Being Human.” At times witty, dramatic, frightening, and romantic, the series explores what it means to be human through the eyes of supernatural outsiders who share both their secrets and a Boston brownstone.

“Being Human” stars Sam Witwer (“The Mist,” “Battlestar Galactica,” “Smallville”) as Aidan; Meaghan Rath (“Prom Wars,” “18 to Life”) as Sally; Sam Huntington (“Superman Returns,” “Fanboys”) as Josh, and Mark Pellegrino (“Supernatural,” “Lost”) as Bishop. The season consists of 13 one-hour episodes.

Aidan (Witwer) was a Revolutionary War soldier who sacrificed himself to vampires to spare his men. Now, over 200 years later, he is still struggling to escape the orbit of his powerful mentor in Bishop (Pellegrino). Josh (Huntington) was a promising medical student forced to abandon his family and future after a werewolf attack left him cursed. And Sally (Rath), once happily engaged before her tragic death, must now figure out how to move on as a ghost.

As Aidan, Josh and Sally learn that there are fates worse than death, they also realize that there”s more to life — and the afterlife — than most “normal” humans could ever imagine.

Two Cents and Five Questions with Patrick (Biggest Loser)

photo: nbc

Patrick, Reality Winner

Patrick was probably the most consistent person on the ranch. He was never in real danger of being voted off, whether it was because of his alliance with Frado or because of his weight loss accomplishments. It’s no doubt the reason why he is the official Biggest Loser winner for Season 10!

The Two Cents: Mark’s percentage of weight loss was greater than yours. So game play, which seemed to be very prevalent this season did have a lot to do with the fact that you won. Do you have any second thoughts about how you played the game?

Two Cents and Five Questions with Mark (Biggest Loser)

photo: nbc

Mark, Reality Contestant

Mark was one of the favorites on the Biggest Loser Ranch. He was friends with everybody and he never complained. His time ran out when he fell below the yellow line with Elizabeth and being seen as the biggest threat, he was voted off. Mark was the player who impressed me the most at the finale. He made a complete change to his whole body and looked fabulous.

The Two Cents: If you feel like game playing may have ultimately gotten the best of you, do you regret saving Frado earlier?
