This episode of The Middle was so funny. The reason why I love The Middle is because the show is about a typical American family. We can all relate to the problems that the Heck family has.

Law & Order SVU returns from its break with two episodes in a row. Miraculously, both are reasonably easy to follow and free of absurd plot twists. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for this trend to continue through the rest of the season.
The first case focuses on a group of men that fights young boys for fun- like it’s not bad enough to do it with dogs? The second is about a girl who was once used in child pornography being attacked again by another pedophile.

The highlight of this episode might’ve been watching Tom cook a dish as part of the Quickfire. The lowlight, at least for the cheftestants, was the entire Elimination Challenge. They cook dim sum in a Chinese restaurant and it goes pretty poorly for the group as a whole. Also, a chef who performed very well last time around has turned into that person that everyone thinks should’ve gone home a few episodes ago. Guess who it is or just keep reading.

Oh how we’ve missed the crazy cul-de-sac crew. My wine consumption by association levels have gone way down since we last met. But in a new year, we have a new episode of New Year’s Resolution: Embrace Our Stupid Name & Lose Six Pounds Cougar Town (We Love It!) to welcome us back on Wednesday nights.
Tonight’s episode brings us enough dead animals to anger PETA, a crash course in current events, a lot of Diet Dr. Pepper, and an admission that viewers were aching for. But did it give you, the viewers everything you needed? Read on and leave your commentary below!

The holidays are over. The decorations have (hopefully) been put away. It’s freezing in the half the country, so what better time to learn to ride a bicycle with Modern Family!
After seemingly too long of a holiday break, the families of Modern Family have returned to amuse us all. I was amused tonight by training wheels, Jami Gertz, princess castle fights, water guns, grammatically incorrect signage, and James Marsden’s abs. What amused you tonight?

Welcome back to South LA! After what seems like forever, our favorite gritty cop drama is back with their third season. I’m so glad TNT picked up this show! It fits right in with their line-up of quality dramas. After all, they know drama.
I’m filling in for Farrah this week, but she’ll be back next week for episode 2. I can’t wait to read her reviews! But for now, on to Let It Snow.

They’re back! The last time we saw our characters the 5th Column was growing stronger, they had destroyed Anna’s soldier babies with the help of Lisa, Valerie had given birth to the first hybrid baby and then was killed by Anna, Joshua was shot and killed and Ryan was captured. Anna in her human emotion driven fury had turned the very skies red.
Under a blood red sky Erica wakes up sprawled on the ground above streets filled with dead humans and abandoned vehicles. She wanders in the eerie silence calling for her son Tyler. She spots him and as she goes to him he lays in her arms. “What did you do?,” he asks as a bloody rain falls. His face disintegrates before her eyes. Then Anna stands before her, “You killed my children so I killed yours.”

Like many shows, Detroit 1-8-7 spent nearly a month off the air. There’s no telling what effect the hiatus will have on the already-shaky ratings, but for now, I’m just glad it’s back- and hey, at least now it’s coming on after V.
Tonight’s cases involve a famous actress murdered while filming a movie in Detroit and a young man found encased in ice. Yes, “Ice Man”. Thankfully, the writers are much more creative with dialogue than with episode titles.
