The first item through the door of the Stash tonight seemed pretty cool. It was a Transformers Megatron figure that I remember my brother having at one point when we were kids. There’s a lot of discussion about the item, however, because it’s against the law to sell toy guns now that don’t have a bright orange cap (indicating to police and others that your “gun” is just a toy). I had a ton of really realistic looking toy guns when I was a kid. I guess I’m lucky I never got shot. Walt decided it would be cool if the shop got a reputation for selling black market toys, but he couldn’t make a deal.

Next up is a piece of George Pérez artwork. The Comic Book Men have their artwork expert Anthony Snyder appraise the piece and Walt is able to buy the Namor drawing for the store where I imagine it is being displayed behind the counter.

We begin tonight with Dale and Emily talking to Larry King about how they met and about their shotgun wedding. I say shotgun because they got married an hour after they decided that is what they wanted to do. Then they went to Waffle Circle. Dale then makes the mistake of calling weddings stupid and asking what the point is in having them. Larry King and Marshall both call it a “gaffe.” Dale says it is going to blow over. A month later it still does not blow over. What happens tonight? We are about to find out….

Tonight’s episode starts the way it almost always does. Marshall is giving a briefing on the President and the goings on at the White House. This week, the White House is getting a visit from Princess Abigail from Andorra, a little country between France and Spain. Marshall approaches Skip, who is swaddling himself in a blanket over his failed attempts to be with Stacy, and tells him that there is a gala that night and that the Princess has requested that he escort her! Apparently he is seen as a bad boy celebrity in her country. Skip is thrilled at the prospects of going with a real princess. But does this mean trouble? Let us see….

Welcome to the 450th episode of Idol. It felt more like a concert show with performers: One Republic with Katherine McPhee, Season 12 finalist Colton Dixon and Idol judge Keith Urban. But that left 13 minutes (minus a commercial or six) to announce the person who would be voted off.

Did we even need that much time? After not learning the words to a group performance, it was obvious that Lazaro would be packing his bags.

Lately I’ve been watching some of the first and second season reruns of Grey’s Anatomy on Lifetime. And while George, Izzie, and Burke are long gone, one of the most amazing disappearances is readily available for our viewing pleasure.

Gone is the tequila-soaked, dark and twisted Meredith Grey whose personality was hinged on her damaged childhood. Now we have Meredith Grey, married, mother, responsible, and most of all, whole. Sure, little bits of the twisted sister show up, but with the seasons that have passed, Meredith has truly grown up. And it’s amazing to see.

On board The Providence, an intriguing band of travelers is thrown together, including taciturn Norwegian sailor Gunnar (Elliot Cowan/Marchlands), agile jewel-thief Rina (Marama Corlett/The Devil’s Double), and haughty and aristocratic Nala (Estella Daniels/Thorne). SouthLAnd
Heroes

Original air date: Mar 27, 2013

FK – Sr. Editor
farrah@thetwocentscorp.com

It’s hard to believe SouthLAnd is almost done and we still don’t have word on what’s coming. Three stars are out and the storylines aren’t winding down. In fact, some of them are just heating up. Lydia is spending time with Ty, Sherman is spending time with a new girl, Sammy admits to a lie and Cooper has to make tough decisions as the men who influenced his life (his father and his FTO) both are falling on hard times. How will that impact him?

“Cops are trained to stay in control but sometimes even heroes feel helpless.”

Opening scene: Cooper is looking around at a hectic accident scene when he sees a woman running towards it. He runs towards her, screaming at her to stop. He grabs her before she can go any further.
