Special Agent Abigail Borin (she was in an episode called “Jurisdiction” last season) is stuck on a date from hell with Steve Mehlman, on a boat so there’s no where to go. She makes her excuses and heads to the bar, where she exchanges some pleasant banter with a Marine Lieutenant Jeremy Nolan. This conversation is interrupted as Borin’s date finds her. Jeremy Nolan walks away. Moments later, he is shot dead on the deck of the boat. Good thing that Coast Guard Investigative Service Special Agent Abigail Borin was on board so she can personally investigate further.

If you are married you know that ou have bought something expensive and tucked the precious item into a corner until the coast is clear. This is what this episode is all about.

Glee Reality Spinoff To Air On Oxygen This Summer

photo: oxygen

Rumors have been circulating for months there would be a Glee reality show, where the winner of the American Idol-type show would get a role on the hit FOX show.

Then it became a reality. Thousands of hopefuls turned out at casting calls and via MySpace to audition. Around 40,000 hopeful Rachel or Finns have been narrowed down to less than 100.

According to tvline.com, The Glee Project, which will air on Oxygen sometime this summer, will be overseen by Glee bosses Ryan Murphy and Dante Di Loreto as well as casing director Robert Ulrich.

The Glee Project Twitter feed gave followers bios, pictures and insider videos from the auditions. The diverse hopefuls range in age, races, religions and abilities.

One person will win a role on season 3 of Glee.

MyTwoCents: In my opinion, Glee is already so over the top, so overdone, this reality show is only going to make it worse. I understand they are trying to cast for when the current Gleeks graduate, but making a huge deal for just one person seems silly. Maybe casting a few people would be more interesting. But season two has been less-than-stellar so I’m not that thrilled about a reality show for a scripted show that’s barely hanging on.

That’s just my opinion. What’s yours? Leave your two cents below.

It’s all Elimination Challenge this week. Instead of a Quickfire, the cheftestants go fishing. Then, they have to cook what they catch. When they’re all done, two of them are being sent home.

Elimination Challenge
The cheftestants drive out to Montauk on Long Island. There is no Quickfire but they do have to fish. They must then cook what they catch for 100 people. It’s a double-elimination challenge.

I’ve liked seeing the range of guest stars this show has hired through the years, but it’s been a while since one really got be excited to watch the episode. This week, though, brought Jeremy Irons as a man who may or may not have raped his daughter.

Not interesting enough yet? Well, there’s still the victims this week being a lesbian couple (I’m always happy to see same-sex partners on TV), a serial rapist (okay, not too big a deal on this show), and, of course, Elliot going undercover as a sex addict.

Russell Hantz and Boston Rob Mariano Returning for Survivor: Redemption Island

mariano and hantz

CBS announced today that two former Survivors, Russell Hantz and “Boston” Rob Mariano, will join the 16 previously announced castaways on SURVIVOR: REDEMPTION ISLAND when the series returns for its 22nd season, Wednesday, Feb. 16 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Having never been awarded the title of Sole Survivor, Hantz and Mariano return to compete for the one million dollar prize and one last shot at redemption. Each one will join a separate tribe of new castaways at the start of the game, but it’s up to the tribe to decide if they will welcome the knowledge of an experienced veteran, or view these former castaways as a threat in the ultimate battle to outwit, outplay and outlast.

Two Cents & Five Questions with Summer Glau & James Frain

Summer Glau, actress
James Frain, actor
The Cape

Get ready for the next generation of fantastical (and fantastic) drama with a side of superhero. The Cape on NBC premiered last weekend airing the first two episodes back to back on Sunday night. There’s a large cast that centers around Vince Faraday, a cop who has been framed by the evil doer Chess. He is forced to go underground, and is adopted by a band of bank robbing circus folk. Also in his corner is the mysterious Orwell who exposes corruption and drives a really nice car.

The nefarious Chess (aka Peter Fleming) is played by James Frain, who, with his British accent make an excellent bad guy. Summer Glau plays Orwell, the mystifying woman behind the scenes. They were kind enough to answer a few questions for us in an exclusive interview.

The Two Cents: Hi there, thanks so much for taking the time to talk to me. I’m loving the show so far. And I’m big fan of both of yours. You two play enemies on The Cape, and Orwell knows who Chess it, but Chess doesn’t know Orwell’s identity. Do you two get to face off or do you keep using The Cape as the middleman.
