So randomly, CBS decided to air the new episode of H5O on Sunday night after the football game, and the game ran late, so even if your DVR caught it, you probably missed the end. Not to fear! The complete episode is viewable on cbs.com AND it’s airing at it’s regular day and time, got it?

On the surf montage that looks great until everyone starts falling, Danny is attempting the island life by getting a surfing lesson from Kono. Good for him! Seems he’s doing his fatherly duty to learn surfing since Grace wants to.

We found out late in the last episode that Bill had some allies hiding regarding his cause. I am sure he’ll continue to fight that while the wives are all infighting. Barb is teetering with alcohol, Margie clearly misses being a public sales woman, and Nicki. Well, Nicki is Nicki. Let’s see what kind of shenanigans Bill gets his family into this week…

Fringe – Recap & Review – The Firefly

Fringe
The Firefly

Original Air Date: Jan 21, 2011

The Friday Timeslot: a death sentence for a lot of amazing shows like Firefly (nice nod in the episode title), Dollhouse, Wonderfalls, I could go on… Will Fringe have the same fate? Judging by the buzz on Twitter (which is still going on this morning) and the fact that the show didn’t drop in ratings with the move to Friday (check out this Entertainment Weekly article), let alone the genius of last night’s episode, I think Fringe is going to be around for a while. At least it will if Fox doesn’t want a full-fledged revolution on its hands.

We begin with Walter trying to inject himself with some concoction that will help him become smarter. Walter is missing parts of his brain, remember, and his nemesis (Walternate) is running at full capacity. Walter thinks he needs to make up for the difference between the two so he can figure out just what Walternate is trying to do with the Doomsday Device (um… bring about Doomsday, maybe?). Peter, ever so calm and logical, reminds Walter that he had those parts of his brain removed for a reason; that Walter was scared of what he was becoming. Well, Walternate is the realization of that fear so maybe it isn’t such a good idea to get that missing grey matter back.

Medium – Recap & Review – Me Without You

It’s the series finale for Medium. Our adventures with the DuBois family have come to a close. It’s bittersweet, but it seems like we get answers to the future happiness of the DuBois clan. But when the episode begins it looks like tragedy is about to strike. Joe is returning after a work trip to Hawaii, on a private plane no less, and he calls Alison in the middle of the night and the plane appears to start to crash while they are still on the line. They cannot kill Joe in the final episode. I will stage a riot.

Fast forward, Alison is second chair lawyer to the new DA, and looking sharp in her suit and glasses. At home, a grown up (and hot) Marie refuses to visit Joe’s grave with Alison, claiming that Joe should have visited his family since they are all psychic. She has a fair point. It’s been seven years since Joe’s death. Ariel’s married, Bridgette’s in college, and Marie, who’s a hot surly teenager.

Finally, we have our Thursday night comedy back! It feels like forever since we’ve seen the gang from Mid-American Novelties. We left off with Todd still dating Tonya. Ugh. I wonder how long they’ll stretch that out.

Let’s see what our friends are up to, shall we?

This week we have more crime in Vegas. What else is new? Well, Greg is finally getting some lovin’. But is she a good girl or a very bad girl? Our beautiful guest star this episode is Dita Von Teese, formerly Mrs. Marilyn Manson.

This episode is just electrifying.

American Idol – Recap & Review – New Orleans

Watching the two installment of American Idol S10, I felt a little like Goldilocks. The two-hour debut felt stretched out and often repetitive. But one hour? Just right.

Once again, we saw far more good contestants than bad. Fewer back-stories and – except for one – shorter ones. (Did they really think a boy who feels like an outcast at school is something new? And although he offered to teach us a few life lessons, I doubt a 16 year old could really do that. Or should.)

Finally, Bones is back and I am sure all the fans are anxiously waiting to see what happens now that Bones revealed her feelings to Booth. Well, let me just say, from my point of view …I was very disappointed in the way it was portrayed.

On a lighter note I will say that I liked what happened with Angela and Jack. Shall we get started?

This week, the boys and Amy have all been invited to speak at the Institute of Interdisciplinary Studies’ Symposium on the Impact of Current Scientific Research on Societal Interactions *inhale* I just had to see if those initials spelled anything. Sadly, they don’t.

Amy asks Penny, who she now considers her best friend, to come along. Penny agrees, as the symposium is all expenses paid at a 4-star resort with a spa. Of course, Sheldon has to control their trip to Big Sur, but this time it’s legitimate. After threatening to filibuster, he was elected Travel Supervisor.
