“EW has learned exclusively that William Petersen will reprise his role as Gil Grissom with a cameo in an upcoming episode.”
MyTwoCents: I think it’s great for the show. With all the competition on Thursdays it seems CSI isn’t getting a whole lot of buzz. This could sure change that.
Every week, the staff at TheTwoCents will be posting their top picks for viewing. They won’t always be the top shows of the week, but the programs that each writer is most looking forward to checking out that week.
So, set your DVRs, watch, and then come back here to discuss how the picks worked out for you.
#1 Sunday, February 6 – 6:00PM ET – FOX – Super Bowl XLV. Come on, the whole US watches. Ok, I’ll admit – mostly for food and the commercials. I mean, look at Betty White – she turned a Snickers ad last year into a SNL hosting gig, a new sitcom, an Emmy and a SAG award!

It is the holiday season in Utah and everyone is preparing for their holidays. Bill’s Mom is staying with him, the government in Utah is trying to drive Bill out, Albie is being… well, Albie.
It’s all sorts of crazy so lets see what kind of mess Bill gets the family into this week!
Some initial thoughts: The nominations aren’t all that different than the Golden Globes, however there are some highlights. The SAGs don’t have Supporting categories, so all actors are lumped together. Ed O’Neill and Ty Burrell from Modern Family are both nominated for Comedy and that’s great. Betty White is nominated for Actress in a Comedy for Hot in Cleveland. Ah, the Betty White bandwagon rolls on! The Office is back on the list having been looked over by the Golden Globes nominations.
Below are the TV nominations, complete with KPonTV predictions. I was wrong in every category at the Golden Globes, let’s see if I can get one right tonight.

The hiatus is over and we’re back to Mystic Falls! Previously on The Vampire Diaries, well, you know, everything. I’ve been waiting for this show to come back for so long that I was worried it wouldn’t live up to my expectations. Oh me of little faith! Tonight’s episode is chock full of blood, death, dismemberment, and smooches (one of these things is not like the other…).

Welcome back to Mid-American Novelties! This week we have some new novelties. Featured is the Windbreaker Extreme, a fart machine. Yes, a fart machine. Asha doesn’t understand how that’s funny until Todd uses Rajiv as an example and uses the sound effects every time he bends over through the window. Asha finally laughs and farts herself in the process.
High class comedy here, folks!

Seems like every episode, I am loving me some Steven Tyler even more. Didn’t you just grin when he told Randy, “You can’t tell people they’re not good. That’s mean.” I looooooved it.
This is the second time Idol been to Nashville and a whopping 17,000 tried out. A few of them rather good.
And while Nashville didn’t have as many breakout performances or soggy tear-filled back stories, it still was a fun episode. I just wish that several of the good performers hadn’t been jammed together in a one minute clip because they sounded hot. Would it have hurt to give Paul McDonald (my fave who sang a Rod Stewart ballad), Jimmie Allen and Danny Pate a few more minutes? Although I prefer the one-hour format by far, surely there was time for these excellent contestants.

This week we are tapped into the world of Booth as a sniper. We learn how a sniper thinks, therefore how Booth thinks. We know a sniper is the one that just pulls the trigger and does not make the morality call…unless his process was destroyed.
We also see our brilliant shrink doubt himself after Taffet got into his head and messed with his psyche.

This week 30 Rock got back on form with a hilarious episode that had some of my all-time favorite lines in the show’s history. Who among us will ever be able to look at a skyline again and not see severed robot penises? I’ve missed Liz being awesome. What’s really awesome is that Kabletown taking over GE happened on the exact day that NBC got taken over by Comcast…weird. If TV is going to call things happening in reality, my vote is for the TARDIS showing up in my living room. Let’s make this happen, guys.
