As most of the country is currently in the grips of a blizzard or ice storm or snowpocalypse/ snowmaggedon, it certainly seems like a good time to check in with the Bravermans… in sunny Berkeley, CA.  Hmmm… it may be hard to empathize with them tonight!

Luckily, with the exception of the Haddie/parents saga, it wasn’t a heavily emotional episode.  We did have tons of overlapping family interactions, which is always enjoyable.  So let’s hunker down (before we get our shovels out) and see where tonight took us.

Chuck Bartowski, (Zachary Levi) it appears, is done screwing around. He’s done with waiting for Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) to come home from her dangerous undercover mission to rescue his mother (Linda Hamilton) from the clutches of the evil Alexi Volkoff (Timothy Dalton).

He’s done screwing around trying to find the perfect place and time to propose. He’s even taking his sister’s pending labor into his own hands with his own “push mix” to play in the delivery room.

It’s getting hot in West Bev—literally. This week, the girls take a vacation from the drama by going to a yoga retreat. Of course, this means they end up in their skivvies in a sweat lodge both discussing their drama and creating more…

Meanwhile, Annie and Liam learn a valuable lesson—if you cheat on someone with their brother, everything will work out great! I’m not sure I agree with the logic on that one.

Russel Brand Must Get To SNL On Time

Comedian Russell Brand and musical guest Chris Brown will make their debut appearances on “Saturday Night Live” for the February 12 show.

Russell Brand, taking his first turn as SNL host, will lend his voice to the upcoming animated feature “Hop” due out April 1st, and will also star in the remake of “Arthur” alongside Helen Mirren on April 8th. Brand shot to fame in the Judd Apatow box office hit, “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” and has also appeared in “Bedtime Stories” with Adam Sandler and Keri Russell, and “Get Him To The Greek” with Jonah Hill.

Ten years ago, Chess is visiting a guy whose daughter is a savant of probabilities. He says that means Tracy can see the future (which isn’t really accurate based on what I know about the subject) but it’s a nice cliche none the less. She is a bit spooky, and Chess says so, then he wants to meet her. She says Chess is going to kill her father and then she is going to kill him. Okay yes, that’s spooky, and also not possible based on probability theory.

Moving on to the present, ARK and Fleming introduce a fancy iPad that can predict the future (called T.R.A.C.E “Tracy”). Well if this isn’t a bad idea I don’t know what is. We also catch a glimpse of the real Tracy, played by Mena Suvari.

Dancing With The Stars Season 12 Premiere Date Set

The stars, the drama, the glamour and the glitter are back on ABC! “Dancing with the Stars” returns for Season 12 on MONDAY, MARCH 21 (8:00-10:01 p.m., ET) with a sensational two-hour season premiere.

“Dancing with the Stars the Results Show” will premiere the following week on TUESDAY, MARCH 29 (9:00-10:01 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

This season’s spectacular cast will be announced live on MONDAY, FEBRUARY 28 during “The Bachelor.”

Wishes Do Come True – Kristen Bell Returning To TV?

In our piece last month about people we miss on our TV, our own Ryan bemoaned the absence of TV’s Veronica Mars – Kristen Bell – from his television viewing.

Well, according to Entertainment Weekly, his dream may soon become a reality!

“The Veronica Mars and Heroes star has joined a Showtime pilot. Bell has joined the cast of the network’s comedy project House of Lies, starring Don Cheadle.”

Harry’s Law is probably the best show on television in a long time! Each week it has brought us a wonderfully laid out plot. The characters are believable and likable. Its use of comedy inside of a drama is excellent. One minute we can be frustrated at the characters for something that they’ve done or said and the next we are laughing our butts off for the same reason. What else can we ask for?

One other thing I love about this show is the multitude of subplots that it has from week to week – and the building of those subplots (and the characters) from week to week. Tonight’s show focused on two and from there added onto one that was brought to us last week. One of those was the continuation of Adam and Chunhua who met because of a lawsuit brought on by a woman who was fired for being pregnant with her second child. Tonight we saw the conclusion of this subplot and more of the evolution of these characters.
