“You are a beacon of hope.” Metropolis stands on the brink of darkness as the heroes await the vote of the Vigilante Registration Act. An ally and an old enemy reemerge to help or hinder the fight for justice. Question is what side are you on? Will Clark lose hope in humanity or step into the light and become the hero he is meant to be?

Find out in tonight’s episode of Smallville.

It’s Valentine’s Day, or as they call it in India, Sweetheart’s Day. But Todd’s workers don’t seem to be in such a great mood. Gupta is featured in this episode, which tickles me greatly, because I ❤ him!

Todd teases his employees about the holiday, but Madhuri stops him when he starts to get carried away.

SouthLAnd Casting News: Goodbye Nate, Hello …

welcome back puente

The shocking and sudden death of Detective Nate Moretta (Kevin Alejandro) sent shockwaves through the SouthLAnd fan community.

In the two episodes since, nothing has been mentioned of his partner’s future, except that he’s on the street and trying to get revenge for the death of his partner. Thanks to tvguide.com, we now have a peak into what’s coming up next for Sammy Bryant.

Laz Alonso, who played Detective Gil Puente in season two, will head back to the show in the season (series?) finale. For those who need a refresher, Puente and Bryant did not get along in their opposing views of how to handle the gangs. However, with Nate gone and crazyTammi having his (maybe?) baby and Sammy out for vengeance, who knows what this time will bring.

Alonso’s episode will air Tuesday, March 8 at 10/9c on TNT.

MyTwoCents: This is a great addition to the cast, even if it’s just for one episode. I hope it’s not the series finale, but still no season four pick up news. Puente was great friends with Nate and I’m sure he’ll be brought in to help bring down his killers. And with Puente’s bluntness, it will help bring perspective to the baby situation. Just my opinion though. What are your thoughts? Leave your two cents below!

Some of the greatest thinkers of our generation have converged in a meeting of the minds to answer a life-altering question: what happens to already-dead zombies if they don’t have enough flesh to eat? Clearly, this inquiry is even more crucial than the last they solved, discovering that reflectionless vampires pair up and shave each other.

But this Saturday night, they will have to give up such pursuits to explain some of their more banal physics research to potential university donors. And if they don’t go, the university president will blind Sheldon with a hot spoon.

American Idol– Recap & Review – Hollywood Week, Part I

American Idol
Hollywood Week, Part I

Original Air Date: Feb 10, 2011

Well, the first two days of Hollywood Week went by in a flash, didn’t they? It could be due to the one-hour timeframe instead of two hours. Or the fact that twice as many contestants made it to Hollywood — 327! (This is all your fault Simon for leaving and allowing the Nice Mice to take over.)

This round the singers once again got up in front of the judges and sang a cappella. Then they stood in a line to learn their fate. In the two days this took (those poor judges), half the hopefuls got the axe. So weak links like hyper-optimistic Victoria Huggins and her ego-overdrive were amazed to find out their California stay short-lived. Same goes for Miss Teen USA, Stormi Henley.

Mostly we saw the same people we’ve been seeing in the city auditions, all except one of my favorites, John Wayne Schulz.

Meredith has to make a choice. Webber – who has been reading her mother’s diaries and in one of them he found something that might be a start to finding a cure to diabetes – believes that it is her legacy which Meredith’s mother left for her. He wants Meredith’s blessing and help to continue in the research and do a clinical trial. Meredith tells him that she’s already doing a trial – since she’s working with Derek on the Alzheimer’s trial – and that she can’t do two at the same time.

Webber asks her to choose between the two trials and tells her that he believes that it is what her mother would have wanted. Meredith is really struggling with the choice but in the end she chooses to stay with the Alzheimer’s trial and gives Webber his research back.

Now I know there have been shippers that have been anticipating the elimination of Hannah in hopes of Bones and Booth getting back together, tonight they got their wish…or did they? I for one was a little surprised at how it all went down, yet I had a feeling of what Hannah was going to do, but the reaction of Booth was the surprise for me.

Private Practice – Recap & Review – Blind Love

The OWPW (will they just change the name already?) group has a lot going on right now. They always have a lot going on.

When we last left them, Susan collapsed at her wedding after admitting she signed a DNR and that her cancer was back (neither of which Bizzy knows), Charlotte had a breakthrough in her post-rape healing and everyone was getting along just fine.

But this week? It’s all about love, trust and ethics when Lee McHenry is brought into the hospital (and since apparently the PP docs are the only ones on staff, Sam is his doctor) while Pete and Amelia work on a patient who has shrapnel on her optic nerve and have different opinions on her life.

The Mentalist – Recap & Review – Blood for Blood

The Mentalist
Blood for Blood

Original Air Date: Feb 10, 2011.

Liz – Staff Writer
liz@thetwocentscorp.com

Grace is working a night shift, but not with her team — she is working as witness protection, guarding Justin deGeorge, a witness against drug trafficker Adrian Essex, and his daughter Trina. When performing a perimeter sweep later that night, someone manages to get the drop on her, and knocks her out. She wakes a short time later and hears shots fired. By the time she makes it back to the house, Justin is dead and Trina is missing.

The team shows up and works while Grace gets her head wound treated. Using the sketches in her book, Jane finds Trina’s hideaway: a treehouse not far from the house proper. Jane and Lisbon draw Trina out, though she is having difficulty remembering what happened. Before it can get much further, Trina’s Aunt Jodie has appeared and closed ranks. Among other clues Jane finds — a Reno Wrangler matchbook in Justin’s collection. Huh.
