Addison – Senior Reviewer

You don’t want to keep up with the Joneses, believe me. Oliver and Chloe find themselves in danger, deep in the master plan of Desaad, the Agent of The Darkness. Meanwhile, Lois wants Clark to adopt a new disguise, so dust off those dark rimmed glasses Clark Kent!

It’s a mythology heavy episode of Smallville and has one heck of a shocking ending!

The Mentalist – Recap & Review – Red Gold

The Mentalist
Red Gold

Original Air Date: Feb 17, 2011.

Liz – Staff Writer
liz@thetwocentscorp.com

“Did Rick Loomis die of happiness?” Sheriff Hughes takes a moment to turn, look, and answer he was shot in the head. “… Well never mind,” Jane replies.

A fellow gold prospector found Rick Loomis in the bed of his truck one day and assumed he was sleeping, but was forced to reassess when he was still there the next day. Investigating as only Jane can, he opens the truck and takes a look at the music. CDs are smooth jazz but the radio is tuned to hard rock. From this he takes that Loomis was killed elsewhere and driven there, while the killer found a radio station he liked. Meanwhile, other prospectors are getting antsy about whether they can work at the crime scene or not, and Jane takes the opportunity to yell fire in a crowded room — or rather, “Gold!”

Private Practice – Recap & Review – Home Again

Private Practice
Home Again

Original Air Date: Feb 17, 2011

Farrah Kaye – Sr. Editor
farrah@thetwocentscorp.com

What happens when your mother your mother who never showed love for you until the last moments you had with her kills herself? If you’re a Forbes-Montgomery, you lie. If you’re Addison, you apparently start acting like Bizzy.

When it was time to head back to lay her mother to rest (and Susan), Addison turns cold and icy, just like Bizzy, ordering around the men on the plane to load her luggage and telling Sam she doesn’t need him. But she has the best of friends, they won’t let her go through it alone. So what do they do? They hop on a plane and land on her front door, which I’m sure will go over just great with the grieving Addison, the Captain and Archer.

(Also, at the very very end, there’s a spoiler for you, if you choose to read it!)

American Idol- Recap & Review – Solo Day

American Idol
Solo Day

Original Air Date: Feb 17, 2011

Patricia Morris Buckley – Sr. Staff Writer
pmb@thetwocentscorp.com

The Solo Audition round once again showed the softer, less critical side of Idol. We watched mostly the good auditions as the camera gave us snippets of various singers. Sure, there were a few duds and eye-cringing notes, as well as some favorites who disappointed (I’m talking about you, John Wayne Shulz and Scotty “I only know the words to one song” McCreery).

Probably the most disappointing had to be Chelsee Oaks, who barely tried, she was so upset about her roommate Jacqueline Dunford, who had to drop out of the competition due to illness. Chelsee called Jacqueline her best friend ever (never mind that they met only days before, which makes you wonder if she has ANY friends back home).

The Office – Recap & Review – Threat Level Midnight

Threat Level Midnight

Original Air Date: Feb 17, 2011

Shannon – Associate Editor

A delivery man comes into Michael’s office and starts shooting at him but he misses Michael completely. Michael whips out a couple of handguns and kills the delivery guy then says “Clean up on Aisle 5”. Michael’s movie “Threat Level Midnight” is complete and you’ve just seen the beginning. You see, Michael filmed this movie several years ago (like back in the Karen and Jan days) and all of the office staff are in it.  It is unintentionally hilarious, of course.

Angelique – Associate Staff Writer

An hour isn’t very long on an average, After all  it is only sixty minutes, thirty-six hundred seconds. In medicine, an hour is everything. The first hour is called the golden hour which determines whether a patient lives or dies.

The time span on this episode is exactly one hour in the life of Meredith Grey.
