Well, here I am to get you caught up on the American version of Being Human. A few episodes have happened since this one, so here’s the brief – way brief – catch-up.

Since the series started, Josh the werewolf met his maker, reconnected with his sister Emily and found an attractive new friend. Aiden the vampire killed a girl in a weak moment, whom his maker Bishop has turned in an attempt (of many) to lure him back. Meanwhile, Sally the ghost learned a couple of moves (literally) and remembered how she died. Now last week, we were left with a badly bleeding Emily and our Sally searching for way to deal with her killer. Did Emily survive? Will Sally choose a path of vengeance?

It’s the final episode before the long break! In true Gossip Girl fashion, the “winter season” ended with a bang! We were left with a major Dan and Blair moment, Chuck Bass in an emotional downward spiral (all tortured and conflicted, that’s the Chuck that we love) and with a possible end point to the whole Ben plot (but there’s a twist!).

Chuck Bass is once again haunted by Daddy Dearest

Chuck starts the episode all confident and full of it because he thinks he had the other buyer on his side, which can only mean one thing: terrible things to come!

It’s winter in Chicago, and frankly it looks a little light compared to what they’ve been going through this year. Mike and Carl are hanging out and therefore Mike can’t hang with Molly tonight. Mike wants to take his shoes off in the car, Carl refuses. So they get into an argument about how each other smells. Boys…tsk tsk.

To be fair, everyone has some pretty rank scents they have, I don’t care who you are. But the least you can do is keep them under wraps in enclosed quarters!

TTC Weekly Picks Feb 28 – Mar 6

JD – Sr. Staff Writer

Every week, the staff at TheTwoCents will be posting their top picks for viewing. They won’t always be the top shows of the week, but the programs that each writer is most looking forward to checking out that week.

So, set your DVRs, watch, and then come back here to discuss how the picks worked out for you.

#1 Tuesday, March 1 – 10:00PM ET – ABC – 20/20
Folks, it’s a train wreck, and I can’t look away. Tuesday night on 20/20, Charlie Sheen is giving his first television interview since CBS announced they would be shutting down production on Two and a Half Men following Sheen’s string of bad behavior. Said bad behavior culminated last week in a radio interview bashing women, Alcoholics Anonymous, and Two and a Half Men producer Chuck Lorre. Having had a lot of experience with addiction and addicts in my life, it’s so sad to watch this man fall apart. He’s clearly in a lot of pain. And yet I keep watching, just like everyone else. It’s unfortunate, but true: damaged people are fascinating.
