Last week’s cliffhanger ending of Castle left our two crime fighting heroes locked in a freezer with a dead body while a van bearing a dirty bomb drove off heading for Manhattan.

In the thrilling conclusion of the two-parter event Castle and Beckett must overcome their differences with Agent Fallon and find that bomb before it is too late, but first they have to make it out of the freezer alive.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever done to get someone to like you? Lie about your age? Fake an interest in some sports? If you’re Naomi Clark, you dress up like a librarian hooker, strip down to your skivvies, and when that all fails to work, just paint yourself blue.

Josh Holloway Gets Lost On Community

holloway

Josh Holloway (“Lost”) is set to guest star in the season finale of NBC’s “Community” (Thursdays at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT).

In the episode, Holloway guest stars as a mysterious figure, who emerges on the Greendale Community College campus when another game of paintball breaks out. The two-part finale finds the students of Greendale taking on another round of paintball warfare as a follow up to last season’s acclaimed “Modern Warfare” episode, in which students battled it out for the ultimate prize – early registration.

Holloway, who is best known for his recent starring role in the television series “Lost,” will also star in “Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.”

So you’ve been dating someone for just a few weeks. You’re MADly in love with them. It’s their birthday. You think you know them, but do you really?

This week, it’s Kate’s birthday – or Kate Fest – and Connie is the master planner of all things Kate Fest. There’s been Better Kate Than Never (when they held her party late), New York Kate of Mind, Kate is Enough, a MasquerKate Ball and more clever names. The best part of the entire episode (besides Jason Biggs in a tuxedo) is that we find out Ben and Kate have a history, as do Connie and Larry.

Go grab some pigs in a blanKATE and read on!

MyTwoCents – Is “Bitch” Really Okay?

Mar 1, 2011

I’m not a prude, you can’t watch prime time TV and be a prude these days. “Mature” language and excessive violence isn’t shocking in our culture. But am I out of line to be dismayed that there are two new shows on the ABC docket with the word “bitch” in the title?

I think the FCC rules regarding language are obscure and ridiculous, but that doesn’t mean I want to hear the accepted words any more than the unaccepted words. And I’m particularly annoyed that these two shows are about women who don’t have hearts of gold. Of course it’s too early to tell how it will all play out, but both Good Christian Bitches and Don’t Trust the Bitch in Apt. 23 have unnecessarily crude titles in my opinion.

I’ll be avoiding these shows on this basis alone, and what does that do for your ratings ABC?

The Cape – Recap & Review – Razer

The Cape
Razer

Original Air Date: Feb 28, 2011

Let’s review for a moment shall we? There’s the original big bad, Chess, whom Vince is no closer to exacting revenge on than he was at the beginning of the season because he keeps getting distracted by other bad guys. Namely Scales (who plays a big part tonight, and brings a new baddie into town Razer), the Tarot card people who are still very mysterious, Dice (still in the wind), and The Lich, now in jail but undoubtedly still a threat. That’s a lot of bad guys!

Last week we also learned that Orwell is Fleming’s daughter (duh) and it’s possible her real name is Jamie. Also, she has a giant crush on Vince. So what’s the new baddie Razer up to? Find out after the jump.

House – Recap & Review – Recession Proof

Recession Proof

We open on silent shots of an apartment just bathed in blood and a guy scrubbing the blood off the floor. Gross. He takes his gloves off to pick up his cell phone. It’s his wife and he tells her he’s about to go into a conference and he’ll call her back later. A cop comes in and hassles him and he goes back to scrubbing. Next shot and he’s in a suit meeting his wife for dinner. She ordered some kind of appetizer of wiggly worms and the guy eats one. They go to toast with champagne and the guy starts choking and breaking out into a rash. Dude, you just ate a worm. What’d you expect?  Also, he’s clearly lying to his wife about his job.  Everybody lies, you know.

How I Met Your Mother – Recap & Review – A Change of Heart

How I Met Your Mother
A Change of Heart

Since “Bad News”, HIMYM has really embraced their image as a sitcom that’s not afraid to do drama, too. Thankfully, I don’t think any more death is on the horizon, but that doesn’t rule out other major changes in the show.

Lately, many of the changes are occurring with Barney. The introduction of Nora takes center stage this week, and he might just change completely. That is, if he doesn’t screw up. Don’t hold your breath.

KPonTV on TheTwoCents Four Year Anniversary!

FOUR YEARS!

I can’t believe it. Today marks the FOUR year anniversary of TheTwoCents.com. Some of you know this little site started as a school project. It is now grown in to a wonderful community of volunteer writers and active readers – none of whom are afraid to share their TwoCents on all things Television.

We’ve come a very long way in the four years. How far? Well, check this out. In 2007 we had 122,368 readers. Last year we pulled in 741,749! Quite the jump. Over the lifetime of TTC we’ve had over 1,500,000 readers!

Over the years, we’ve had the amazing fortune of speaking to some of the biggest names in TV. It all started when a very gracious Melora Hardin shared her TwoCents on March 29, 2007 and has come all the way to our latest interview with Henry Winkler last week. In between we have shared the TwoCents of celebs including: Jeff Probst, Ryan Seacrest, Simon Cowell, Fred Willard, Jason Lee, Tina Fey, Rainn Wilson, Wentworth Miller, Ed Helms, Anthony Edwards, Summer Glau, Joss Whedon, Jason Priestly, Tim Roth, Gordon Ramsey, Neil Patrick Harris, Jane Lynch, Joel McHale, Amy Poehler, Leonard Nemoy, Seth Rogan, Ron Howard, Lauren Graham, Susan Sarandon, Elaine Stritch, Bradley Whitford, Jimmy Smits, Keri Russel, Timothy Olyphant and and our good friends – Yvette Nicole Brown, Christopher Gorham, Bobby Ray Shafer and of course Miss Piggy.
