This episode should have been called “The Episode of Flashbacks.” Each team flashed back to moments they had in the past, whether it was in China (their destination), a bad time while driving (see Team Goth) or with each other (Kisha/Jen-Margie/Luke).

It also could have been called the “Ron Needs To Stop Eating Show” or the “Team Goth Get a Clue Show.” Either way, I give you…

Hi everyone, I’m filling in for Jeff this week so bear with me. This week Chuck is finally discovering that Casey is taking part in some secret missions while he and Sara are sitting home, bored. It all comes to a head when they see Casey enter a secret chamber that they don’t have access to. After getting Casey’s hand print they get access to the chamber and find out it is a better castle than the one they have. They also find a new team of agents.

ttc weekly picks

March 14 – March 19
Karen – Sr Staff Writer
karen@thetwocentscorp.com

Every week, the staff at TheTwoCents will be posting their top picks for viewing. They won’t always be the top shows of the week, but the programs that each writer is most looking forward to checking out that week.
So, set your DVRs, watch, and then come back here to discuss how the picks worked out for you.
These are only in order of days of the week, not by favorites. I hope you like them.

#1 Monday, March 14 – 8:00 ET – NBC – Chuck
I just love Chuck and have been watching it ever since the first episode. This week Chuck suspects that Casey is working on secret missions. I just love to see all the crazy mishaps that go on in the Buy More with the loony group of staff. I hope we get Sarah doing a few more wedding planning stuff too.

People are getting shot, businesses are at risk, Bill’s career in the Utah state senate is looking grim, and Cara Lynn’s affair with her teacher has been exposed. Our favorite polygamist’s world is crumbling around them (once again). Let’s tune in again to this final season to see what kind of crazy is still in store for the Henrickson’s.

CSI: NY – Recap & Review – Do or Die

CSI :NY
Do or Die

Original Air Date: Mar 11, 2011

Maria – Sr. Reviewer

Yet again we open on glamourized sex and drugs, but this time in a school setting. Archford Academy is giving its sales pitch about how their students get the best grades and study hard, the usual spiel to reel in next year’s students, but it is cut together with a montage of young and pretty people having sex, doing cocaine and cheating on exams.

The elite high school looks a rather dangerous place to be and this is proved as one of the students stumbles to where the spiel is being given, her head bloody. She drops down dead.

Fringe – Recap & Review – Os

Fringe
Os

So what’s lighter than air? Helium. Neon. Other gasses with cool names. And people. Well, usually not on that last one, but this is Fringe we’re taking about. This week we get, yes, floating bodies, Walter on drugs, Alan Ruck in a guest spot (!), and a bit of heavy metal. Literally.

It’s JD here this week, covering for your usual Fringe aficionado Rachel, and let me just say right off the bat that I’m a Fringe newbie. I just started watching this season and was so utterly confused (but intrigued!) by the plot that I went back and watched the whole series (thanks Netflix!), and promptly fell in love. Watching seasons one and two during season three, however, got a little… well, let’s just say watching Fringe in consecutive order can be hard to follow, so you’ll have to forgive (and please correct!) me if my grasp of the back story goes awry!

Blue Bloods – Recap & Review – Silver Star

Blue Bloods
Silver Star

Original Air Date: Mar 11, 2011

“The victim was a Marine. They never leave each other behind.” (Renzulli)

In the past few episodes of Blue Bloods, we’ve learned more about Danny and his past, including his time in the military. In tonight’s episode, a Marine is murdered and Danny takes the case personally.

Usually there are other storylines besides the main criminal story, but this week that’s all we get as the family rallies around Danny to support him as he deals with some of his own demons. There’s a small Frank storyline but it’s so tiny it’s easy to forget.

Welcome back to part two of Fitz’s return and the conclusion of “oh yeah, some other stuff kind of happened too.”

It’s a known fact amongst Degrassi fans that every episode has three story arcs.  This two-parter was no different, but the vast quality difference between the three was staggering! Keep reading to see what my TwoCents are and then share your feedback below.
