ttc weekly picks

March 21 – March 27

Angelique – Associate Staff Writer
Angelique@thetwocentscorp.com

Every week, the staff at TheTwoCents will be posting their top picks for viewing. They won’t always be the top shows of the week, but the programs that each writer is most looking forward to checking out that week.
So, set your DVRs, watch, and then come back here to discuss how the picks worked out for you.

These are only in order of days of the week, not by favorites. I hope you like them. Truth be told I had to shuffle things around a bit since none of my favorite shows are airing this week, normally Glee and Criminal Minds would have the top spots.

#1 Tuesday, March 22 – 8/7c – NCIS

NCIS has been a long time favorite of mine. This is another episode were a kid is involved – usually those are the funniest – this time however the kid is being accused of murdering his own father a retired marine. And that is a whole new ballgame.

The Goths lost their fanny pack after a whole lot of being lost (and crying). There’s a double u-turn coming up (meaning two teams can be u-turned at the same time) and the end of the continued leg.

Will Team Goth make up their time? Can you see the “bunch up” coming? Will Ron yell?

Fringe – Recap & Review – Stowaway

JD – Sr. Staff Writer

So last week’s episode left us hanging. William Bell was in Olivia’s body, and just in time to interrupt her reaction to Peter revealing the big secret he’s been keeping. I have to say, I was more excited to see how this played out than I was for any other show this week. Is Olivia going to be conscious of this? How is everyone else going to react? How awesome is Anna Torv going to be as Belly?

This is JD again, filling in for Rachel. You guys should get your regular reviewer back next week, but for now, you are at my mercy! Mwahaha!

Oh, sorry. Got carried away. On to the episode!

Welcome back to the latest Degrassi. This week we have possible illness, a runaway, and… a pogo stick. Yes, you read that correctly.

I often railed on the vast difference between the three stories in quality, but this week it’s the equivalent of watching and Oscar winning film and a National Lampoon film. See if you agree…

Remember that time when Naomi and Sam kissed passionately while Addison was off grieving for her mother? Yah, I barely do either, but it happened a few weeks ago and we’ve been waiting a while to see the consequences of that kiss.

Elsewhere, Fife is back (eep!), Violet is putting the final touches on her book, Amelia needs to make a big decision regarding a friend’s life (she has friends?) and a slew of the doctors go at each other over a controversial case.

Valentina D. – TwoCents Reviewer

Pawnee’s Harvest Festival is finally here! The parks department has poured their blood, sweat and tears into this town celebration, and for good reason. If the festival is a hit, the parks department proves their worth and won’t be eliminated.
