This week, we came into this episode with high very expectations, and we leave with not so many. Last week had the good, the bad and the funny.

Thinking back to last week, this episode didn’t really have a great twist. All we really got in this episode was a bit of character development.

Modern Family returned tonight after several weeks off and returned to season one form in a delightful episode that left the pitfalls of this year behind. We even got to see a slight shift in character pairing for tonight’s stories.

Many viewers have complained that the season has relied Cam & Mitchell’s bickering, Claire’s shrew nature, and Gloria’s accent too much for plots and it’s gotten a bit tired. I’m happy to report that not one of those plots made an appearance tonight and instead we got a surprisingly sentimental episode disguised with some very funny lines!

The Middle – Recap & Review – Spring Cleaning

Spring Cleaning

After a short hiatus, The Middle is back and is funny as always! It’s spring time in the Heck house and the kids are on spring break and as like every year during spring break, the whole family takes a vacation. That vacation is cut short when one of the Heck’s neighbors call.

Frankie had asked one of her neighbors to pick up the mail and bring it inside the house while the family was gone so when Frankie’s neighbor walks in her house, she thinks that the Heck’s have been robbed! She calls Frankie and of course Frankie is expecting the worse but we all know where this is going.

Top 11

Original Air Date: Mar 23, 2011

After last week’s ultra pitchy show, the Top 11 redeemed themselves. In fact, as Ryan noted, Randy didn’t use the word “pitchy” once. But this was a make it or break it show. This will be the last contestant to be eliminated before the Top 10.

And everyone who makes the Top 10 gets to go on the Idol tour. But no pressure.

NCIS – Recap & Review – Out of the Frying Pan…

NCIS
Out of the Frying Pan…

Original Air Date: Mar 22, 2011

We open on two parking enforcement officers, bickering about the job. The elder one is all for issuing tickets whilst the younger one wants to give the people the benefit of the doubt, knocking on the door of the nearest house to see if it’s their car. If it is their car though, he’s got no chance of it being moved: the man is lying battered to death on the floor.

By the time the case reaches NCIS it is two weeks old and Vance is the one who wants it investigated, Gibbs knowing nothing about it. Yale Peyton was a retired Marine who was struck with an axe seven times. The police knew they couldn’t get a conviction without a confession and NCIS has officers who are very good at interrogations. The reveal comes when we see the suspect, Nick Peyton, the eighteen year old son of the dead ex-marine, but he looks as though he’s twelve.

Cartoon Network Continues the Funny and Builds on Success by Growing Its Global Brand and Franchises

what's next for cartoon network?

Springboarding off its 2010 ratings growth across key kids and boys demos, in which series/specials Adventure Time, Dude, What Would Happen, Generator Rex and Hall of Game helped propel the network to new heights, Cartoon Network described its plans for building new global franchises today as it unveiled a broad slate of new content for 2011 at its annual Advertising Upfront presentation. Thirteen new animated series, 19 returning shows, and the network’s newest live-action scripted comedy series, Level Up, which will launch with a 90-minute original movie, will debut over the next year.

The morning’s announcements also spotlighted a new partnership between Warner Bros., DC Entertainment and Cartoon Network in which the three entertainment brands would unite their powerful assets in publishing, theatrical and television to create a multi-platform block of exclusive branded original content on the network named, DC Nation.

Who would have predicted that this episode would turn out to be such a game changer? Man, I felt like a tornado had knocked me sideways about two miles during the last five minutes of the show. The whole experience has left me bruised, shocked and so, so eager to see the next episode.

Normally the cases don’t have as much to do with the character’s relations as they did in “Ham Sandwich” (the title comes from the idea that Chicago’s state’s attorney will indict anything, including a ham sandwich).

Welcome to another week on the ranch! The morning after the elimination, everyone walks into the gym with the trainers and are disheartened to find Ali. It’s never good news when she’s in the gym. She informs them that they are breaking up into four teams – one for each trainer.

What does this mean for the team alliances? Don’t they realize there are only 14 people left?
