The thrilling case of the Port to Port killer takes a backseat this week whilst Agent Barrett’s team focuses on it. This means that we actually get to see Agent Barrett’s team! It also means that the NCIS agents we know and love are busy with another case: murder inside the Pentagon.

The case looks open and shut as McGee shows security tapes that show Petty Officer Donner murdering Lieutenant Junior Lauren Ross. Surely, it can’t be that simple!

ABC Family Picks Up Andie MacDowell’s Jane By Design

macdowell

Building on its most expansive programming slate ever, ABC Family has picked up an additional one-hour scripted drama, “Jane By Design.” The drama is in addition to the network’s four previously announced series pick-ups set to launch this summer, the one-hour dramas “The Nine Lives of Chloe King,” “Switched at Birth” and “The Lying Game,” and the half-hour multi-cam comedy series, “State of Georgia” (formerly “The Great State of Georgia”). “Jane By Design” is set to premiere in early 2012.

“Jane By Design” (formerly “What Would Jane Do”), a light-hearted drama, follows Jane, a teenager who lands a job at a hip retail company when they mistake her for an adult. Jane soon finds herself juggling life both as a regular high school student and as an assistant to a high powered executive in the cutthroat world of fashion… all while trying to keep her true identity a secret. “Jane By Design” stars Erica Dasher (“The Lake”) as Jane Quimby, Nicholas Roux (“Lemonade Mouth”) as Billy Nutter, Rowly Dennis (“Desperate Housewives”) as Jeremy Jones, India De Beaufort (“One Tree Hill”) as India Jordain, Meagan Tandy (“10 Things I Hate About You”) as Lulu Pope, Matthew Atkinson (“CSI”) as Nick Fadden, and featuring Andie MacDowell (“Four Weddings and a Funeral”) as Gray Chandler Murray – Jane’s steely boss whose constant demands keep her on her toes.

Parenthood
Slipping Away

Tonight’s aptly titled episode is all about the trials and tribulations of coming to terms with children growing up. Whether they’re growing up too quickly or taking the wrong path, parents will reach a time when they realize their children may be “slipping away” from the cocoon and safety of the family home.

This is the penultimate episode of season two for Parenthood. We haven’t heard anything about a renewal yet, but most predict a return for our favorite family drama. After the intensity and quality of tonight’s hour, let’s all keep our fingers firmly crossed.

It turns out that Tara isn’t the only crazy lady in Max’s life! When Max tells his Mom about selling the lawn service, he says he’ll come by to see her so she can sign papers. When he does, she won’t let him into the house until he forces his way in. The house he finds is a complete mess. Clearly she belongs on an episode of Hoarders.

Castle – Recap & Review – The Dead Pool

Castle
The Dead Pool

Take a dive off the deep end with Beckett and Castle as they investigate the death of a champion swimmer in this week’s episode. When an Olympic hopeful winds up drugged and drowned in the college’s training pool it is up to Beckett and the team to find the killer, though going for gold can be a dangerous goal when it leads to steroids, blackmail and murder.

A dark pool, a swimmer in the zone and unaware of the shadowy figure that looms above him waiting for him to surface…but wait this isn’t our crime scene but the first novel of rookie writer Alex Conrad whom Castle is mentoring and has asked to shadow him and Beckett at the precinct. Hmm. That doesn’t sound like a good idea to me.

episode two is here

Week two and we’re still here! That’s to everyone who listened to the first week and hopefully I’ll keep the momentum going! This week we talk to a few special guests, discuss merits of watching an entire TV season on DVD, talk about the favorite new shows of 2010/2011 and where The Office is going in the next few weeks.

This week is so jam packed, we had to split it into two parts. Still only about 35 minutes long in total though.

Hopefully, you’ll want to keep listening and getting in on the conversation.

I’m still on a high from last night’s classical night. Fantastic music and terrific performances made for a great night of dancing. Unfortunately it’s time to send home another celebrity.

The big orchestra is still on hand to give our eliminated dancer a beautiful send-off and the night begins with David Garrett playing “Walk This Way” on the violin. Totally wild.

Well, it has come to this, humans. Bishop showed what extent he would go to to get retribution for Aiden’s transgressions. Disrupting Sally’s moment to cross over to the other side, Bishop busted in, staked Aiden and left him bleeding on the floor.

What are the roommates going to now do with a critically(fatally?) wounded vampire? What can Sally or Josh do against a force as determined as Bishop? Will Aiden survive? Okay, so that last question might be silly given the pecking order of the cast, but let’s continue to see how we get to the end of season one.

Chuck Versus The Family Volkoff

Original Air Date: Apr 11, 2011

Jeff L – Staff Writer
JeffL@thetwocentscorp.com

The CIA targets Vivian Volkoff (Laurent Cohan, The Vampire Diaries) for assassination after finding out the bombing, which destroyed much of Castle (at least they had time to rebuild during the 3-week hiatus) was ordered by her. Chuck turns to a most unlikely source to help rescue Vivian – her father Alexei Volkoff (Timothy Dalton, James Bond).

Ellie decides to come clean to her mother (Linda Hamilton) about her work on Orion’s (Scott Bakula) computer. She’s stumped by some files in the Intersect program labeled “Agent X.” She hopes her mother’s former years in espionage might shed some light on the mystery. Mom Bartowski is nonplussed, however, by the discovery that her daughter is monkeying around with her former husband’s computer – even going so far as to try to sabotage Ellie’s (Sarah Lancaster) work.
