Welcome back to Westeros! With Jon Snow heading toward the Night’s Watch, Ned Stark journeying the Kingsroad, and Dany traversing the grasslands across the narrow sea, this episode was all about transitions.

So how did “Game of Thrones” fare with its second installment? With 77% less disembowelment than last week’s episode, this may just be my favorite installment yet! Read on for the full recap and review.

Paternity scandal! Missing babies! Surprise cruises! Prenuptial agreements! Tonight’s Brothers & Sisters had so many secrets that one would almost need a scorecard to keep track. Especially poor beleaguered Justin who was the keeper of almost all of the episode’s plot twists.

After tonight, there are only two episodes left in this fifth and possibly final season. But there was so much jam-packed storytelling, that it was almost a blessing that Kitty and Seth are still in “Boston” (aka Calista Flockhart’s week off). So let’s check in on the Walkers weekly hijinks.

Doctor Who – Recap & Review – The Impossible Astronaut

A killer opening – quite literally, but which of the awesome foursome is doomed to die? The hectic opening shows the Doctor going to absurd lengths to get the attention of former companions Amy and Rory. When that fails, he sends out anonymous invitations on TARDIS blue card to the couple, to River Song’s prison and to a man we haven’t met yet. They all arrive at the time, date and co-ordinates stated: America! Beautifully shot, the awesome foursome (River, Rory, Amy and the Doctor) have a nice picnic when suddenly; an astronaut appears from the lake and kills the Doctor. The Doctor begins to regenerate, but he’s shot again. The Doctor is completely dead. Gasoline provided by the man we haven’t met yet is used to give the Doctor a Viking funeral, destroying the Time Lord’s body. Is this the end of Doctor Who?

Remember back when Walternate stole a blood sample from Henry (the baby, not the cabbie)? Well, Brandon has been able to analyze Henry’s DNA profile, identify Fauxlivia’s chromosomes and strip them out. Now they have half of Peter’s chromosomes, but that is enough to start the Doomsday Machine on our side. Brandon is all proud and stuff, but Walterante knows they will be killing billions. “I am become Death.”

Meanwhile, the signs of the Apocalypse are going down Over Here. Swarms of locusts, sheep acting all weird, mini earthquakes, bats, Walter walking around naked, etc. Sam Weiss (bowling alley owner whom I don’t trust 100%) notices some weird juju happening, too. A while back he had told Nina that if Peter and Olivia were together, the end of the world (at the hands of Walternate) wouldn’t happen. So why is this strangeness going on? When Sam is worried, I am worried.

If you are female and have a pulse, there was really only one reason to watch this episode: Dean Winchester as a cowboy. Never mind if he was wearing a blanket or a Stetson, that man could probably work a potatoe sack. Alas I also adore Supernatural for its plot, which has been decidedly patchy at times. But I’m getting ahead of myself here. The brothers travel back in time to Sunrise, Wyoming to retrieve something they believe will help them stop the Mother of All. And no, it isn’t the Colt.

Curious? Read on after the jump as I unravel the mystery!

The time is here! This week’s Degrassi is the finale of the In Too Deep spring episodes. Did it live up to the hype?

If you missed any of part one, you can check out all that happened here. But now we’re diving off into the deep end for part two. Two-thirds of the episode is kind of heartfelt, but the main story is definitely a bit off the rails. So let’s see how it’s going…

This week, Coach Taylor and the Lions (including the non-football playing pride of characters at East Dillon) learn a little about R-E-S-P-E-C-T. It’s rankings week in Texas Country, and coaches and players alike are riled up to know where the Lions stand after last week’s triumph. Apparently, rankings week has a full-moon-like effect on the rest of Dillon, which leads to an Epic encounter for Tami and some really rowdy Rally-Girl action.

30 Rock – Recap & Review – 100th Episode

30 Rock
100th Episode

Happy 100th Episode, 30 Rock! That’s a phrase many fans would never expect to be saying but here we are, five seasons later and counting! TGS had originally meant to be an altered version of Saturday Night Live but over the years, it’s been a perfect fictional stand-in for 30 Rock. They’re both extremely low-rated shows with a loyal fanbase and have somehow managed to avoid the axe to make it to this milestone. Longtime fans will love this episode and the many callbacks and references to early seasons, as it’s just as much a clip show as it is a celebration of their 100th outing.
