Molly is relaying her day to Mike, who is overwhelmingly bored. But he shouldn’t be, Molly is upset about a perceived injustice, and he should pay attention! I guess that wouldn’t have the comedic value. In the midst, Joyce and Vince grab some water after their yoga workout. Say what you will about their seemingly shallow relationship, but they seem to really like each other, and they’re certainly compatible!

Joyce’s high school reunion is coming up. She is smoking hot so she has nothing to worry about, but Vince could use a little toning. Turns out, it’s his insides that he’s nervous about.

We’re still in Switzerland at the foot of that Matterhorn (which, according to Zev, was named after the Disneyland ride). With that, I give you…

The Top 5 Things I Learned From The Amazing Race

1. Flight Time and Big Easy: Don’t cross a huge black man, even if he made it up. The Road Block had the teams dealing with one of my favorite Swiss things: Chocolate. At a culinary institute in Zermatt, one team member had to create a painted chocolate mold of the Travelocity Roaming Gnome (who sponsors this show?). Two halves had to be painted and alternately put in the fridge to harden. At one point, FT’s ‘bottom’ went missing so he picked up Vixsyn’s. A rousing chorus on ‘Who’s on First’ ensued and BE took it upon himself to blame Vixsyn for playing dirty and stealing FT’s mold. Now, from what I saw, Vixsyn was in the right here. You, gentle reader, will have to tell me otherwise if I missed something. But the main thing here is that BE came completely unglued. Truth be told, he got a little scary. FT got over it quick, but BE… he even made Vixsyn cry. I have never been a big supporter of Team Goth, but that was crossing a line. Even if Vixsyn did take the wrong mold, it was a complete mistake, not malicious. I lost a lot of respect for BE… but my respect means nothing in this game. FT&BE arrived at the Pit Stop (a 300 year-old Swiss cabin) in 1st, winning a trip to the Cook Islands. Jealous.

“No good deed goes unpunished.” So Mary Alice tells us at the end of this episode. And it’s definitely true for the housewives. Each is trying to do something right by their neighbors, but all comes back to bite them in the end.

Susan has a new pet project, Bree has pests in her immaculate house and Lynette and Renee have a new job.

Greetings from the desert! I’m writing from the Sahel (which isn’t exactly Pentos or Dothraki territory, but is still pretty darn hot) and—for the first time ever—am actually jealous of Jon Snow for being in Westeros’ northern corner. Sure, he’s surrounded by vindictive co-recruits and potentially facing an army of the undead… but at least he’s nice and cool, right?

Meanwhile, below the wall, Ned arrives in King’s Landing to have any romantic notions of the capital destroyed by the rampant lechery and corruption (the fact that half of his scenes take place in a whorehouse probably doesn’t help), Cersei grooms her little King-in-waiting, Arya learns to fight and Dany gets some interesting news.

After last week’s covert hijinks, this time we get a somewhat more serious episode, with the exception of a few randy Frenchmen. And the return of Kitty!

Most people will see the title and think this was a wedding episode, but despite some seating chart work, this episode was wedding-free. Instead we dealt with the notion that, for better or for worse, our parents and siblings are our family. Let’s do the run down, shall we?

Alexis – Senior Reviewer

Every week, the staff at TheTwoCents will be posting their top picks for viewing. They won’t always be the top shows of the week, but the programs that each writer is most looking forward to checking out that week.

So, set your DVRs, watch, and then come back here to discuss how the picks worked out for you.

#1 Monday, May 2 – 10:00PM ET – ABC – Castle (To Love and Die in L.A.) – Kate Beckett chases down a suspect in her former’s partner’s murder. And I bet the heat will rise when Castle and Beckett visit the Heat Wave movie set!

In Plain Sight – Recap & Review – The Art of the Steal

Jules – TwoCents Reviewer

Welcome back, In Plain Sight! With a new season brings inevitable change, and in the show’s fourth season premiere we tackle change head on – despite Mary’s general detest and resistance to change. And as Mary says, “nothing endures but change,” but “it’s resistance to change that truly endures,” and that continues to hold true for our Mary.

For those around her though, change is happening. Brandi is now working and in a very healthy relationship with Peter, Marshall has found himself a new gal and Stan hires a new Marhsal. With so much change going on, all I really want to take away from this episode is the visual of Marshall sitting in Mary’s mustang and not having enough headroom.

Doctor Who – Recap & Review – Day of the Moon

Maria – Sr. Reviewer

Another killer opening, or so it seems, but things are not always as they seem! The episode starts three months later. Amy, River and Rory are all on the run, all alone. They’re being chased, not by The Silence (although they are there), but by men in black led by Canton. It gets even more worrying when body bags are produced and Amy and Rory are shot, yet River chooses to jump off a very tall building instead of being captured. Then Canton chooses to visit the Doctor, in his brand new shiny and impenetrable cell.
