First of all….I have to say ….I loved this episode!! Broadsky is back and wreaking havoc as there is lots of tension on who he is going to kill next. Yes there is a death and it is a sad one. And something happens that keeps you wondering exactly…what did happen? Let’s get started:

Well, I have to say, I kind of liked this girl that got to work with Booth this week. I mean can you blame her for messing up when she just wanted to work with Booth really bad? No! But I have to admit…as time went on, I had some doubts and thought that she was maybe working with Broadsky. Anyone else think that?

The chefs have to cook for a tough audience in the Quickfire. Then, they have to cook for Maroon 5 in tough conditions: divided into two teams cooking on RVs in the Elimination Challenge. Plus, the bandmembers have a LOT of pretty specific requests. In the end, one team is much, much better than the other.

It’s been a bumpy season for us Criminal Minds fans, and now we’re ramping up to the finale episode next week. Tension should be building, right? Unfortunately, this episode didn’t do that for me at all. We did get some insight into Morgan’s life, though. Is this his big secret that was supposed to be revealed this season?

So, in Jacksonville, Florida, a barge’s pump sucks up a skeleton… on top of one of the workers when he gets caught in the pipe’s stream. That’s years worth of therapy right there. Apparently, they keep pumping, though, and only decide to call the FBI after they find nine bodies. Because eight isn’t enough to cause alarm, but nine crosses the line!

For many shows, the episode before a season finale is either filler or a collection of plot points to get us into the last episode of the season. Clearly, though, SVU’s writers want to make sure to expect just about anything to happen anytime in the season.

A woman brings a man up to her apartment and finds a 14-year-old kid asleep in her bed. She says he was trying to rape her, he says he was just drunk. Generally, though, drunken youth don’t sneak into women’s bedrooms with knives.

Two young girls are abducted from a known bad neighborhood where a lot of drugs are being sold. Since one of the girls is the daughter of a federal judge an abduction for ransom is suspected at first but when no call for ransom comes in the team has to find a different approach to find their unsub.

Luckily for Emma – even though she and her father are estranged – she has a loving father who’s worries about her. Since he’s a local judge and a personal friend of FBI Director Fickler he doesn’t have to wait the usual forty eight hours before a report is is even made of the abduction.

The low down
This is it, the penultimate episode. The thing is, it was still predictable. Going into it, there were two possible options for who would be voted out of the game. One of those two people was, in fact, was voted out. The only “interesting” part of the episode was watching an exhausted, starving vulnerable 19-year-old be emotionally manipulated by two people.

American Idol — Recap & Review — Top 4

There are two weeks where getting eliminated really stinks. I mean, more than usual. The first is just before making the tour. The second is right before the Top 3 get to go home to a parade, concert, lots of genuflections and adoration. NO ONE wants to miss that.

So the performances tonight were critical. The idols had two rounds to prove they are worthy of a home visit. Round one they sang songs that inspired them. Round two they chose from the library of Lieber and Stoller.

Cougar Town – Recap & Review – Damaged By Love

One of the best things about We Pretend Cougar Town (…Is Called Wine Time) is that it does not follow the normal sitcom rules. None of the characters are overly likeable. There’s no important life lesson at the end of thirty minutes (or twenty nine, per my DVR). And none of the characters ever seem to be hung over, despite copious amounts of wine.

But the show does work, and little by little, has become somewhat of a cult hit and critical darling. Although we’d never call on any of these characters in a crisis, we have to admit they’d be fun to spend an afternoon with. And that’s the problem with this week’s episode.

Is it just me or has this cycle just flown by? Here we are at our penultimate episode already. Tonight we go from three to our final two. Who will it be? We’ll know in about 44 minutes. We begin with the girls celebrating Alexandria’s ouster and how excited they are to be finalists. But they all worry about how difficult it’s going to be now to win.

Hannah thinks that she is absolutely the best and most commercial model still in the competition. Molly thinks that she deserves it the most of all of them. She keeps bringing up the adoption thing as though it’s her Achilles heel. That bothers me more than I can say. I know that everyone’s experience is different, but I was adopted and I don’t see it as a bad thing at all. Quite the opposite, actually, but to each their own. Brittani just wants out of her trailer park. Now, I live near Beech Creek and it’s not THAT bad, but I get where she’s coming from. It’s hard to be a model out of small town, Pennsylvania.

Modern Family – Recap & Review – Good Cop Bad Dog

At this point I think it’s safe to say that the unwritten rule of Spring 2011 is a Lady Gaga reference must be included in every television show. Glee, American Idol, Brothers & Sisters, Castle, and now Modern Family have all referenced her within the past few weeks. I love me some Gaga, but I’m wondering where else she’ll pop up this month.

Tonight’s episode is all about what the different halves of a couple bring to the relationship. If one person is nurturing, might the other be a little selfish? If one is strong, maybe the other has too much compassion. And if one is always the killjoy, maybe the other is a little too lenient. Can you guess which character falls into each categorization?
