Doctor Who spin off series was created around Captain Jack you have to understand a bit about John Barrowman. He is sex on a stick mixed with the personality of an overgrown puppy. He sings, he dances, he’s sexy as all heck and you just can’t help but love him because he is just so sweet and you want to take him home to meet your mom and feed him chocolate.
It doesn’t matter that he is completely gay and happily betrothed to a partner of many years and a menagerie of dogs. He is simply: a nice guy and would be great fun to be around. The man is always laughing and just loving life. He also is a mad keen Doctor Who fan, which doesn’t hurt when you are entrusted with keeping the Doctor Who legacy alive.
