NBC announced that it has added an extra results show to its hit “The Voice” (Tuesdays, 9-11 p.m. ET) on Wednesday, June 22 (8-9 p.m. ET) and has scheduled the series’ season finale for Wednesday, June 29 (8-9 p.m. ET). Both episodes will air live.
“The Voice” is averaging a 5.5 rating, 14 share and 12.6 million viewers overall in “most current” results from Nielsen Media Research through May 31, making it the #1 new series of the 2010-11 television season in 18-49. Among all entertainment series on ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox and CW this season, “The Voice” ranks behind only “American Idol” in adults 18-49. With its May 31 telecast, “The Voice” jumped week to week by 29 percent in 18-49 rating to a 4.9 and by 69 percent in total viewers to 14.4 million persons. It was a four-week high in 18-49 rating and a new series record in total viewers.

As one might guess, science is the theme of the episode. The Quickfire features cooking with a product placement. The Elimination Challenge has the cheftestants cooking for an edible science fair. How cool is an edible science fair? Very cool, that’s how cool. Plus, I get a gift at the end of the episode. In fact, I’d go so far as to say this was probably my favorite episode of the season.

It doesn’t matter that he is completely gay and happily betrothed to a partner of many years and a menagerie of dogs. He is simply: a nice guy and would be great fun to be around. The man is always laughing and just loving life. He also is a mad keen Doctor Who fan, which doesn’t hurt when you are entrusted with keeping the Doctor Who legacy alive.

Welcome to Salt Lake City, where we’re reminded just how much talent comes from Utah. Nigel is wearing a very dapper bow tie and our first contestants are steppers. I love steppers, they are so amazing to me as someone who can barely clap on a beat.
The second girl does a lot of name dropping, which is kind of upsetting when her dancing is weird and not good. The judges really like it, but I’m not impressed. She has a cute personality though.

We recently talked with Greg Grunberg (Heroes) and Constance Zimmer (Entourage) about their new show Love Bites. The show premieres June 2 at 10:00pm ET on NBC. It will also star Becki Newton from Ugly Betty. They were very funny and playful during this interview and if that is any indication of what the show is going to be like, then I will have to say it will be very funny. Enjoy the interview!

The King is dead. Long live the King. In the latest pitch-perfect episode of Game of Thrones, King Robert sheds his mortal coil, leaving the seven kingdoms at the mercy of his duplicitous Queen and her evil muppet of a son.
The series really upped the ante this week, with regicide (both attempted and actual), treachery, and the most welcome addition of Charles Dance (love him!).
