It’s been a tough couple of episodes for Chloe King! First she gets killed and comes back to life, then she learns she is Mai and the Uniter, neither of which have been fully explained to her yet. Add to that the stresses of teen and family life, and the guilt of possibly killing a very cute boy with your kiss and she’s got more than one girl can handle!

Last week Chloe used her developing abilities to take on a less-than-menancing drug gang, along with the help of her Mai and human friends, while evading the scar-faced assassin and struggling with her feelings for cutie Brian. So what did this week’s episode hold for our hunted heroine?

Okay, guys, I just have to say that last night’s episode of MasterChef kinda rocked. I mean, I watched it with my husband, who usually doesn’t get into these sorts of shows, but even he was wound up. And the end? Well, it prompted quite a reaction from both of us.

This week, the cooks took on feeding homemade sausages to 101 hungry bikers, and then a pressure test that is probably my favorite one ever on the show. Considering the test itself wasn’t overly exciting, I guess that’s saying something.

photo: hbo

WaterTower Music has announced the upcoming release of “TRUE BLOOD – MUSIC FROM THE HBO ORIGINAL SERIES – VOLUME 3” due in stores and online this fall. The follow up to the first two Grammy® nominated soundtracks will consist of new songs from the upcoming forth season of the acclaimed HBO drama as well as music from the show’s wildly successful 3rd season.

Music is an essential element in developing the tone and atmosphere on the hit television series. The sexy, supernatural world of Bon Temps comes to pulsating life through the edgy songs and season three is no exception. An exceptional duet recorded by Neko Case and Nick Cave will be the first track from the collection to make its debut. Case and Cave have recorded a new version of The Zombies’ classic “She’s Not There” which will be available at all digital retailers on June 26, after the premiere episode.

This week Annie is attached to Carlo, who is supposed to be an Italian spy but we later find out to be a journalist. After an exchange goes bad, they are on the run for their lives. I really liked Carlo as he brought some humor to the situation, along with bringing out some hidden skills in Annie. Did you see her run him down in the field…in high heels to boot? OK, so if you look closely, she isn’t in heels…really, but still…it’s the thought. Skill #1

In this episode, we meet one of my favorite recurring characters for the first time; another recurring character; and the man who confessed to killing Lilly Kane, Abel Koontz. Also, Keith really impresses Wallace’s mom. It’s an exciting and packed episode.

If you’ve read my bio, you’ll know that this two-part episode is what got me hooked to the show, so I may be a bit biased this week. Re-watchng it now, it’s still as good as it was over ten years ago.

The season two premiere picks up in the aftermath of the shooting at Rosslyn with the staff dealing with a crazy extended work day. Between all this we get a parallel storyline of how the staff was formed during the campaign over three years ago. So let’s get to it.

Oh yes, the Botwins are back! At the end of season 6 Nancy was on her way to jail as the confessed killer of Pilar in order to escape the wrath of Esteban and the boys, including tag-along Doug, headed to a new life in Copenhagen. As a show known for making big changes in the lives it’s characters including their locations and associates, we can hardly guess what season 7 has in store for us.

This episode reveals little of what we’re in store for, but I can’t wait to find out!

So we were taunted with a shocking elimination in the commercials over and over, and got dramatic clips of the judges tearing the cooks new ones. For sure, this was one of the most disastrous elimination challenges in the show, but I wasn’t really all that shocked. Maybe I missed something.

Anyway, the cooks took on rack of lamb this week, and coffee desserts. In my experience, you’re either a dessert person (as far as being able to make them), or you’re not. It doesn’t seem like many of our current cooks are. Read on for the tale(s) of woe. Okay, and some really good looking stuff too.
