If you are a big fan of the show and a Twitter follower, then you know that this episode was all about Auggie. We finally learn how he was blinded and what led up to the moment it happened. We also get to see a sighted Auggie, which is different from what we normally get to experience. I have to give a shout out to Chris Gorham, who plays Auggie, for a fabulous performance. You nailed it, Chris! This is a nice tribute to the American service men and women.

First I will cover Auggie’s vacation:

Love Bites The Big One

The Hollywood Reporter confirms that now that all nine episodes of the first season of freshman show Love Bites have aired, NBC will not have the show return for a second season.

Love Bites never officially caught the audience the network had hoped it could acquire and production issues have made the season difficult to get out, as it was due for a fall 2010 premiere. Constance Zimmer has already moved on to a new role on the show Royal Pains and I imagine the other cast members won’t have to wait long before their next gig arrives.

This season has focused on Neal and Mozzie’s escape and whether or not they will actually go through with it. This week we get to see into how both really think about the whole thing. In the midst of this, we have a computer hacker to get after and learn that Jones and Mozzie are pretty computer savvy. Also, there is more movement in the Neal and Sara department and Mozzie manages to get some action as well.

Pretty Little Liars – Recap & Review – Never Letting Go

Never Letting Go

Never Letting Go was an appropriate title choice for this episode. It was more slow than usual but we got a lot of little character moments. Pretty much everyone was there, except Ezra and Lucas. I know, I am bummed about that too! But overall, it was a pretty entertaining episode.

It was fashion week in Rosewood! For a minute there, I thought Gossip Girl was back! (September cannot arrive sooner!) Hanna and Emily are going to be roomies, Aria is starting to upset some shippers and Allison’s presence is still felt in the girls’ lives, making sure they never quite let go of the past…

The West Wing – Summer DVD Review – Bartlet for America

We’re into season three now with Christmastime again. I mentioned earlier this summer how this show does holiday episodes like no other. There is really not a bunch in the series that isn’t amazing. The first season focused on Toby, the second season features Josh and this one is all about Leo. It should be noted that all actors featured in these episodes went on the win an Emmy for these performances. So yeah, they’re that good.

It may be the holidays, but everyone is still working. Leo must testify in front of Congress about the President’s multiple sclerosis cover-up, from which we get flashbacks to times during the campaign, while Josh is trying to deal with threats against black churches in the South and trying to help Leo at the same time.

How long does it take to get over someone? I’ve heard it’s half the time you were together. I’ve heard it’s as soon as one person moves on. I’ve heard it’s after closure. Tonight’s episode raised that very question.

It also looks at what one has to do to be a “present” parent. I recently heard somewhere that it’s easy to be a mother or father; it’s a lot harder to be a mommy or a daddy. So let’s see how this Degrassi covered these issues.

This season is depressing! Between the hideous outfits from the job-interview closet, the horrifying half-way house inmates, the awkward visits between Nancy and her family, and Jill using Stevie as a way to get back at Nancy for whatever the crazy woman thinks Nancy has done to her, the discouragement just keeps piling up. I don’t know how much more good-from-bad the Botwins have in them.

As per usual, no matter what Nancy tries, no matter what plans she makes or scrambling she does, it’s not enough to get her what she needs, either for herself or for her family. The walls are closing in, and she’s barely started to step back into the outside world. And what is up with Andy’s freaky new girl?

White Box Challenge

Isn’t it nice to have our good old Design Star back? The second show of the season confirmed that the format we all love and made us major fans to begin with has returned. Yay!

And how great is the White Box Challenge? I look forward to it all year long. They all start with a three-walled room with two end tables, a couch/futon with two pillows, a dresser, a desk/table with two chairs and a lamp. This is more furniture than they’ve gotten in past seasons and a lot more variety.
