Wow. What an episode! I loved it! Between meeting a whole new race, Amy switching from Team Brian to Team Alek, and really getting a chance to see into the hearts of our Mai characters, not to mention the action and cute Mom dating, this was a full episode.

I love that Chloe’s world is expanding and we are along for the ride. And is that a Mai love affair on the horizons for Chloe? Yes please!

Got a secret, got to keep it… Why is it impossible to get that song out of our heads? Pretty Little Liars was back this week with another suspenseful episode that expended the list of suspects, AGAIN! I swear, by the end of the series, even Ezra will have been a suspect. This time, we had one hell of an awkward dinner party, a never-ending slumber party and parents acting weird. Fun times!

Let me start off by saying that I love the strong, smart female leads in this show.

First there is Joan: so determined to save a friend that she would go against her husbands wishes. And Annie: while unsure of the hostage negotiations waters, is still willing to take the initiative and succeed.

We need more female characters like this on TV.

Finally, an episode about Jones! After Mozzie’s back story episode a few weeks back, I was hoping for a Jones back story type episode. I love Sharif Atkins and we were just not getting enough of him this season and then, bam, here it is!

Not only do we get to hear about Jones’ old life, but he gets out of the van for once! Oh and there is lots of movement on Mozzie and Neal’s escape, so let’s get started.

These episodes were an example of everything I love about Degrassi. We had personal development, promising new characters, real conflict, and social issues. All three story arcs could have been the “A” story. Not a lemon in the bunch!

Just a reminder, for the two-part episodes, I’ll be posting one recap after the second portion airs. So you didn’t miss anything yesterday, I’m going to cover it all here! So let’s get to business…

Nancy and Silas have a weed demand but no supply, Shane’s student loan money is going everywhere but towards tuition (including into Nancy’s pockets), Andy is dating a woman whose dying husband is always around no matter what they are doing (in or out of bed), and Doug is working for a company that only hired him for his supposed softball skills with Nancy as his assistant.

Oh and Nancy’s sister Jill is tirelessly working to keep Stevie from her, using every disgusting trick and lie she can. Remember how I wondered if Nancy could take anymore knocks before just giving up? Well finally this week she gets at least a little relief!

The Closer – Recap & Review – To Serve With Love

The Closer
To Serve With Love

Original Air Date: Jul 25, 2011

“Flynn and Provenza!” If you are an avid watcher of The Closer, you know what this means! Lt. Flynn and Lt. Provenza are always getting into some kind of trouble and I love the episodes when they screw up. There is always at least one of these episodes in every season and this one exceeded expectations.

This week, Provenza has found some lawyer who will pay him $2000 to serve papers to this con man who has been found guilty of laundering money. His sentencing is a few days away, so this criminal is staying in a hotel until then. Anyway, Provenza drags Flynn in to help him find this dude but to find him, they have to track his cell phone so poor Buzz is dragged into this mess and I felt bad for him the whole night but it was hilarious.
