Another two-parter that has lots to love about it. It’s a “day in the life” episode that is jam packed with highs and lows for everyone. But the winners for most difficult day is probably Toby, Josh and Donna for being lost in the middle of America, hence the title. But that’s just half the episode. The rest is just as good.

This is also really the only bunch of the Sorkin episodes I’m covering this summer that features excerpts from some amazing President Bartlet speeches. Any episode that features amazing dialogue I love (which ends up being a lot of episodes) because I’m a sucker for great dialogue.

Due to TNT’s cancellation of television show Men Of A Certain Age, Jeff Martinous, a fan of the show, has started a Facebook campaign to save the show and have it picked up by another network.

Men of a Certain Age, a widely renowned show and receiver of a Peabody Award and Emmy nomination, was recently canceled due to it‘s “0.4 demo rating” and drawing in “barely 1.8 million viewers” as reported by TVLine.com.  An occurrence that has riled up the fan base of the show; a fan base that is dedicated to bring back their favorite TV show through an online campaign.

Save the Date

This week, on Pretty Little Liars, A raises the stakes in a major way. Up until now, he/she had always been omnipresent, but in season 2, it seems as if he/she is on a mission. The threat is definitely there: if I was one of the girls, I would go with Emily to Texas! In other news, Caleb’s past is catching up with him, Hanna is dealing with her never-ending daddy issues and Ezra and Aria hit a rough patch in their relationship…

KPonTV on 2011 Emmy Picks – Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama

emmy picks: supporting actress drama

Every year I attempt to predict the Emmys. I’m usually wrong. How wrong? If I was a weather man, I’d predict snow in July.

However, I’m a self-proclaimed TV critic and thus, it’s in my mental contract with myself to try to predict the winners. I am fortunate enough to have seen at least SOME of the episodes of most of the nominated shows and can speak pretty well on most of the actors. So, let’s see if my predictions can hold any water this year. (I wouldn’t hold your breath.)

In any case, I hope I can start a debate with you all and we can discuss the possible winners in the comments below. Here we go!

Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series

2010 Winner: Archie Panjabi, The Good Wife

For a penultimate summer episode, it sure felt like the finale. There were twists, reveals, deception and lots of gunfire. We also had the return of Matthew Keller and a guest spot by Eliza Dushku.

I also have to say that I am loving this season thus far and sad that the summer episodes are almost over. This episode felt like a big rush with a lot going on, so let’s get down to it.

And we’re back for week three of seven of Degrassi’s spring semester which is airing in the summer. We’ve got our traditional three story arcs, one of which is a conclusion to an ongoing tale that I am happy to see come to again. But another is oddly familiar.

So let’s get down to business and see what you thought! Be sure to share all of your comments and feedback as well.

Design Star – Recap & Review – Episode 4

If being a team player is such an important part of being a HGTV host, as the judges have said over and over, then why isn’t Cathy getting dinged more for being the worst team player in the history of Design Star?

Seriously, she thinks everyone is beneath her and if she doesn’t do well, it’s because of her partner(s). I have a suggestion for a drinking game — take a shot every time we see her back as she says “I’m going shopping” or when she rolls her eyes at her partner or when she asks someone to “trust her” (interpretation: You better do it my way because it’s the only right way). I wonder if getting shnockered will make her any easier to watch?

The group challenge this Monday was… utterly terrifying. I don’t spend a lot of time around children, and when I watch my niece, I need a two day nap to recover. Needless to say, when 200 screaming kids showed up for our chefs to cook for, I was very happy not to be in their shoes. Had I been on the Red Team, I might have hyperventilated and passed out at one point. The Blue Team wasn’t much better, but that had more to do with the team dynamics than the kids. I’ll give you three guesses as to who the trouble maker is…

The pressure test wasn’t a piece of cake either (literally and figuratively), with tons of drama and overflowing ego, and a very unexpected outcome.

Let me just say that in my opinion, this was the best episode of the season so far. We finally see Brenda start to realize the amount of trouble that she is in. The show starts of with a boy named Eric, missing from summer camp and Lt. Tao’s  son who is a camp counselor, helps in the Lt. Tao in the disappearance of the boy. What I liked about this episode was in the beginning, while Lt. Tao is investigating the disappearance of the boy, Brenda is being questioned by Captain Raydor.
