Over My Dead Body

It’s the season finale already! What? It went way too fast for us Pretty Little Liars fanatics! (By the way, sorry there were no recap last week, I was away on vacation and there was no space left in the car to bring my laptop!) Anyway, what a way to end the summer season, right? I am still processing everything that happened, what with all the backstabbing, tension, and yes, lies that came up… Let’s try to make sense of it all!

Creepy Dolls

Still in shock over the disappearance of Dr.Sullivan, the girls start the episode in a panic, and it’s all downhill from there. In a cool homage to the books, the girls get dolls from A! If they don’t do what the dolls tell them to do, the doctor is going to die.

We’re winding down this summer season of Degrassi! After these two episodes, we’ve only got two more left until hiatus. Are you ready?

Tonight was a more sentimental episode than we’ve seen as of late. Sure there were teen hormones a-plenty, but friendship was really the overriding theme.

This weeks episode of The Closer was awesome! That is the only word I can come up with! We saw Captain Raydor kick some serious butt this week! This weeks episode was all about a murder for hire. It was a big case with lots of people and lots of excitement. The show starts off with Brenda going to the county jail to talk to a snitch who has some information about a murder for hire in exchange for a deal.

Only four designers left. Can you believe it? In two weeks we’ll have our winner. I hope you have a favorite by now. I know I do (I’ll tell you at the end).

I really liked this week’s challenge. Each contestant had $2,500, two days and a studio apartment (no sleeping area) to make look high-end with little cash outlay. They already had some furniture, and a nice TV, which helped a lot. They also each could use a carpenter.

Weeds – Recap & Review – System Overhead

Weeds
System Overhead

Original Air Date: Aug 29, 2011

Melanie – TTC Reviewer
melanie@thetwocentscorp.com

This season of Weeds has been a vast improvement on last season’s road-trip escape which mostly fell flat with fans of the series. Now set up in New York, we’re getting back to the same problems that made previous seasons of Weeds so great, and creating some new ones as the boys work to stretch their roles as more mature individuals.

Part of that stretching has gotten them both into situations that only a mother like Nancy, with her ability to manipulate the system and work the angles, can get them out of. But this only works when the boys listen and stay out-of-the-way, and with especially Silas’s attempts at asserting his equality, that’s easier than it sounds. Continue reading

Warehouse 13 – Recap & Review – The 40th Floor

Warehouse 13
The 40th Floor

Original Air Date: Aug 29, 2011

“Since the days of Warehouse 2 the Regents have been it’s protectors.” Artie gives us major foreshadowing that this episode will be about Sally and her evil bosses, as well as the mysterious Regents. She is using the doorknob she snagged off Claudia and Steve to torture Regents that she’s captured for secrets that she wants. Then she kills them. Lovely.

Furthermore, it appears she’s been on a spree against the Regents for almost a year, killing four and a fifth is missing. Yikes! Okay team, get cracking!
