Nathan seems more at ease now that he’s no longer chief. He casually saunters into the police station with coffee and donuts, frees Dwight, who has been picked up by a uniform, teases Audrey about her date with Chris, and shares a donut with Duke.

It’s a whole new Nathan, until he discovers a dead body in the police station and must deal with the anti-troubles new chief who puts the station in lockdown.

Burn Notice – Recap & Review – Dead to Rights

Burn Notice
Dead to Rights

In the movie Up! there was Dug the talking dog. Dear Dug has become a bit of a running joke in my family. In particular my sister constantly states that my inability to focus on one topic at a time is remarkably alike to Dug’s infamous “Squirrel!” line. I bring Dug up because that was what this summer finale felt like to me, and even now I’m not quite sure whether that was a good, or bad, thing.

“This ain’t a job. It ain’t an occupation. It’s a calling.” – Tommy Gavin

Last week began the two-part series finale of Rescue Me. If you don’t remember “Vows,” our favorite crazy firefighters were stuck in a burning building with no way out just as it exploded.

Series finale spoilers (actually, Rescue Me spoilers in general) were hard to find. The preview last week showed coffins, Janet crying and Needles saluting his men. With all the theories of what the entire series has meant (Tommy was under the Ground Zero rubble waiting to be rescued, Tommy has been dead the whole time, etc…), this episode was going to shock the fans, no matter what.

Top Chef: Just Desserts – Recap & Review – Villa Rosa

Ryan O – Senior Reviewer

I really enjoyed most of this episode. I liked the tiny desserts made in the Quickfire. So cute! I enjoyed the idea of making a dessert table for the elimination.

But there were a few things that bugged me. First was the cross-promotion of another reality show on Bravo. No, I’m not going to mention the name of that show — I don’t get paid enough for that (I don’t get paid at all, actually). The other was the inclusion of a less-than favorite former Top Chef Masters cheftestant. Who? Keep reading.

Welcome to season 4 of Sons of Anarchy! Last season, we left off with our favorite outlaw bikers heading to prison after flying across the world to find Jax’s son. He also had to go all over Charming to find his old lady who had been taken hostage by another biker who had been stripped of his position as president.
