Here it is, a new season of Grey’s Anatomy and it kicks off with a two-hour premiere episode. Of course many of the doctors at Seattle Grace Mercy West found themselves at a sort of crossroads when the last season ended and we pick up shortly after that moment. The fifth year residents stand literally at the year that can either make them or break them as doctors.

April Kepner is taking her job as Chief Resident very seriously, she’s determined to get the other residents to do what she wants them to do even though they don’t seem impressed in the slightest. April is trying to give a speech at the breakfast where the fifth year residents get the chance to talk to the Attending of their choice, about working with them. In walks the Chief. April, who so far hasn’t been able to catch anyone’s attention, announces that the Chief walked in and asks him to say something to the residents at the start of the new year. All he says is; ‘You all know what you’re doing, just don’t kill anyone.’

The Hybrid. Wherein men are shirtless, Elena gets wet, werewolves bleed a lot, Stefan is still Klaus’ lapdog, and Tyler becomes likable. Damon is preaching “Stefan is Gone (Like the Wind)” to Elena’s who’s not buying it, because she’s Elena.

And then we have Shirtless Guy #1, otherwise known as Alaric. Elena is at his doorstep, waiting to guilt trip him into giving her the information Damon refuses to share. He puts on a shirt and tells Elena (guilt trip successful) that Klaus and Stefan have been tracking werewolves.

It’s makeover week on ANTM! As usual, there are plenty of people who are not pleased with their aesthetic changes, but some of them may surprise you. I dislike Alexandria even more than I thought possible and Tyra finally does something that I wanted to do last week. Let’s not waste any delicious time.

The girls spend the trip home from the elimination musing about how great this year’s prizes seem. Each and every one of them think they deserve to win, which I actually think is a healthy competitive attitude, just don’t get overly cocky about it. Alexandria gets a little sympathy for the audience’s reaction to her last week and admits, “I know that I am a misunderstood star”. Ok Alex, if you say so!

When we last saw Harriet “Harry” Korn and the gang over at Harriet’s Law and Fine Shoes, we had Harry who did not want to attend an important black tie gala (she did end up going….with Tommy Jefferson…and he left with another woman and left Harry there alone), Jenna and Malcolm trying to work things out, Adam and Rachel getting back together (or are they?) and Josh “Puck” Peyton taking a plea deal after suffering a mental breakdown and breaking and entering a woman’s home.

What is in store for them this season? We’re about to find out with the season premiere!

Welcome to Season 4, everybody! We’re dropping in on Pawnee, Indiana’s City Hall after a long summer and picking up right where we left off: Li’l Sebastian’s memorial! Leslie is thrilled to have been approached for the mayor’s job but knows she has to end things with Ben in order to run for the position. The only problem is figuring out how.

Ron is in full panic mode after being told his first ex-wife, Tammy One, has come to city hall for him. He grabs his emergency stash and takes off, retreating to a hideaway and growing a pretty wicked beard while he’s out there.

Wow! What a way to end the hour premiere of Modern Family! The first half of the hour was filled with plots but this was just plain entertainment! We all know from last seasons finale that Cam and Mitchell want to adopt a boy and now they are ready to tell the entire family!

The only problem though is that Lily (loving the new Lily) isn’t liking this younger sibling thing.

There is a reason why Modern Family dominated the Emmy awards this past Sunday. This premiere shows you why. I had high expectations because it did dominate the Emmys and it went way past expectations. There wasn’t a moment when I wasn’t wiping tears from laughing so hard!

I have to say that this show resembles my family and how different we all are as people but we come together so good! This episode starts off with the whole family going on vacation. You know this is going to be good!
