Welcome back to all the fans of the clinic formerly known as Oceanside! If you have any questions as to where we left off, you can catch up here.

According to Addison, “people plan and God laughs.” So what plans are torn asunder right now? Is it Violet’s plan to go to New York? Is it Addison’s plan to have a baby? Is it Amelia’s plan to drink herself into oblivion?

Harry’s Law – Recap & Review – There Will Be Blood

Harry’s Law
There Will Be Blood

Original Air Date: Sep 28, 2011

At the end of last week’s episode, we saw Harry get arrested for jury nullification/tampering. She knew exactly who was behind it – Roseanna Remmick, the DA who wants her off the murder case that Harry is currently the defending lawyer for. We are about to see how it continues to play out…..

We open with Harry and Roseanna in the judge’s chambers verbally sparing with each other, even calling each other names. Even the judge can’t see why Roseanna had her arrested. He takes her side with defending her (or so it’s looked to me). The judge gives her a warning, in which she replies “I was simply trying to be a good steward of the court”. There obviously seems to be animosity between them already, don’t you think?

Criminal Minds – Recap & Review – Proof

After the team’s personal struggle with the loss of Emily and her subsequent return from the dead and their victory on Ian Doyle, rural Oklahoma is the next stop for our favorite BAU team. It’s obvious that a lot has changed within the team and their dynamics.

JJ is now a profiler, which in turn means that Garcia still tells the team about the cases – just like she did when JJ wasn’t there. It makes me wonder: does that mean that she’s also the one who chooses which cases they work or does JJ still do that? I guess that we’ll get an answer to all of those questions in future episodes.

Brandon, Brandon, Brandon. How do I hate thee? Let me count the ways. You are threatened by women. You don’t understand or practice your religion. You say you want one thing but then do the complete opposite. You don’t understand basic math concepts. You’re a whiner and you whine about problems you created for yourself.

But, the episode also features … actually nothing else of interest, which is to say, nothing interesting at all because Brandon is not interesting.

Top Chef: Just Desserts – Recap & Review – Sabotage

Sabotage

As Orlando points out, this is the first episode where they get to work on their own for the elimination challenge. On the other hand, this episode is all about making the savory into a dessert. Unless it’s bacon, I’m not a fan of things like that.

You can add sweet things to savory things and that’s fine but not the other way around. But, on the upside, Ad Rock from the Beastie Boys is here as a guest judge and that’s cool. Oh and we get a cameo appearance from Top Chef cheftestant and dillhole Marcel. Sally is good friends with Marcel, so draw your own conclusions about her from that.

After last week’s excellent premiere I was excited to see another episode and I have to say, I was not disappointed! The weaving of the multiple story lines and the tensions between characters keeps things interesting, and the mystery surrounding everything with her father’s frame-up and the previewed murder of Daniel Grayson don’t hurt either.

While last week’s episode dealt with Emily’s understanding of revenge, this week we see the lessons her life has taught her about trust. But with Victoria’s investigation of Emily moving forward, Noland pushing his hand to get a part in her plans, and her old friend Jack around to remind her of the good parts of her past, can her resolve hold up to the pressure? Just in case you were overwhelmed last week, SVU is going to put a bit more on your plate by bringing in another new character. At least we’ll be seeing a lot of this guy- he’s Olivia’s new partner and Elliot’s replacement.

His name is Nick Amaro, and as you can imagine, things don’t go completely smoothly at first. But there are bigger problems at hand, specifically a basketball coach accused of abusing some of his players.

On tonight’s episode, tensions arise between Reagan and Ava. Hey, all friends fight sometimes- just usually not on the sets of daytime programs. And, of course, there’s discussion of sex. Up All Night now joins the ranks of every TV show ever.

Chris has made a fancy dinner and planned a whole date night. But Reagan spills food on herself and seems to take their causal dinner at home just a little too casually. This should be taken as a sign of certain other issues.

Body of Proof – Recap & Review – Hunting Party

Body of Proof
Hunting Party

Original Air Date: Sep 27, 2011

Tonight’s episode starts with just that, a hunting party – a group of friends out hunting deer. This trip turns tragic though, with one of the hunters being shot. We hear three shots being fired from the various different hunters, but did one of them do it? We’re about to find out!

When Megan arrives at the scene, she checks out the scene and the victim. The detectives that are there interview the family. There is an assumption made by Megan that maybe one of the family members (new husband and stepchildren) may have had something to do with it.
