Cory Monteith said he would give twenty dollars to people who didn’t enjoy the episode. Well Mr Monteith I would like half of that promised money for an episode that had a very good emotional high due to a stellar Mike Chang performance, but then wasted that goodwill due to the sudden need for Mercedes to rediscover her pride.

Was the Diva-Off Glee’s Achilles heel this week? Read on after the jump to find out!

90210 – Recap & Review – Let The Games Begin

Let the Games Begin

So the third season of 90210 was sort of fun and campy, but this season is just…terrible. The show switched show runners at the end of last season & it turns out that the switch was a change for the worse. So did this episode make me believe this season was going to get any better? Nope. Read on for a quick recap of what happened in the first 3 episodes and a review of tonight’s episode.

So far this season, Naomi found out she wasn’t pregnant & became president of a sorority, Annie found out that her inheritance from the actress she was assisting last season was being road blocked by the woman’s family, Liam came back & proposed to Annie twice (she rejected both times) & opened a bar, Navid took over his father’s studio & found out his uncle was running an illegal car theft ring from one of the studios, & Adrianna was, sadly, still alive & found work at Liam’s bar. None of these plots is rather interesting this season, so let’s break this episode down by character.

Whereas last week we had a quiet episode of Parenthood, this week the Braverman family is expressing their emotions. From the seldom seen or heard Drew to the quieter than usual Kristina, we had plots advancing and even seemingly ending.

But first, a question… was this the first episode where each sibling didn’t have a story? Outside of a brief family dinner, Joel and Julia were nowhere to be seen this week. So the next question, did you miss them?

After everything that has been opened in the last five weeks has just been a brain twister. We have seen different things happening with Juice and Roosevelt and his family back ground. We have the letters which are playing a huge part in this season. And we have the club with the cartel and drugs and how that business is affecting the club.

Each week seems to be putting more and more on the plate of this season.

Elimination night for week 3 is upon us. After a very emotional night of dancing last night, it’s going to be very difficult to send someone home, but that’s the name of the game.

Remember, Ricki is at the top with 27 points with J.R. and Chynna tied for 2nd with 26 points. At the bottom is Chaz once again with 18 points. Tonight’s elimination is a bit of shocker. So who gets sent home? Read on to find out.

So last week I was really worried at the end of the episode with Kono all by herself. I mean I know there was a kidnapping, but come on guys! Give the gal some support for crying out loud! She lost her job and ruined her reputation to save your butt!

Anyway, onto the crisis of the moment. A young couple in the jungle stumble upon a dead body in a tent. And go.

Welcome back Gossip Girl fans! While this second episode of the fifth season wasn’t as good as the premiere, it still had some OMG moments, right?

This week, Dan seeks help from…drum roll please…Chuck! And, Serena is back to her old pushy, obnoxious self (sigh), while Blair is still in the denial phase of her pregnancy. Let’s get to it!

Castle – Recap & Review – Head Case

Head Case

What I like about Castle is that I’m always caught off guard and pleasantly surprised by the originality of the murders. This episode opened with an eerie zoom in to a New York City alleyway from outer space. A white van speeds away, leaving a massive trail of blood. I was reminded briefly of Saw.

The Case: I think that starting off with no body was incredible. (I will be having nightmares about that black blood stain in the middle of the alley, by the way.) Apparently, it narrows down a victim to gender, which isn’t enough to please Iron Gates. Luckily, a tire tread was recovered from the scene, and the make and model of white van is immediately targeted down to one. Which happens to have a swear of blood on the bumper.

Bluebell is abuzz with the news that Zoe is Harley’s daughter. Zoe assumes the town will have to accept her because she’s a “townie by blood.” However, it’s not that easy to fit in, and Zoe learns that settling into life in Bluebell is going to take more that eating grits. Proving herself might just take one patient at a time. That is, if she can get a patient.

While everyone loved Harley, they are hesitant to accept Zoe, worrying that she won’t fit in and doesn’t understand their ways. George advises Brick that it will be harder to contest the will now they know she is Harley daughter. Brick asks George to comb through the original partnership agreement, and he discovers that if one partner does not contribute at least 30 percent of the billing then the other partner can buy them out.

House – Recap & Review – Twenty Vicodin

If you’ll recall, last season House ran his car through Cuddy’s dining room and fled the country for 3 months. Now he’s in prison and up for parole. He’s sitting in front of a parole board and they ask him if he’s sorry. He deadpans “yes” but they don’t believe him, which is pretty astute if you ask me.

The parole board asks if he can stay out of trouble for 5 days and then he’ll be out of there. House says he can. You and I both know he can’t.
