Oscar and Erin find a dog in a locked car in the office parking lot. Dwight decides to give the doggie a bit to drink through the sunroof which is open. Oscar breaks the rear side window but now the dog can get loose and get run over by a car, so Oscar puts up a piece of cardboard with a couple of holes poked in it for air circulation. Reminder: the sunroof is open.

The warehouse crew won the lottery yesterday. Now Andy has to get Daryl to find a new warehouse crew. Daryl grouses that he used to be in that lotto pool and they won using his birthday. Daryl is really depressed about this turn of events.

Chang lives in a utility closet at Greendale and sleeps with a mannequin leg. Also, they’re charging for the water fountain in order to keep tuition down and save on water. There’s a two sip minimum, by the way.

Kane assigns a terrarium project for the Biology class and laments the changes in Lego while he was inside. They’re just so complicated now, he says. He assigns partners and the study group asks Kane if they can partner up among themselves because they’re a family and they love each other. This is not going to end well.

Did you ever want to know everything there is to know about Pawnee? I mean, every little detail about the small Indiana town? Well, you’re in luck because Leslie Knope, Pawnee’s resident expert and mayoral candidate, has put every little snippet of town history down on paper and released the book “Pawnee: The Greatest Town in America.”

While this is a huge accomplishment for Leslie, not to mention a boost to her mayoral campaign, her proud moment is shattered when the book is plagued with a rumour of a factual inaccuracy within its pages. Because of this, Joan Callamezzo, host of daytime talk show Pawnee Today, refuses to endorse it with a “Joan Callamezzo Book Club” sticker (a great play on Oprah’s book club, where books are guaranteed to become bestsellers). How does Leslie deal with this backlash? Does the book actually contain a factual mistake? Find out after the jump!

Talk about an episode that has you at the edge of your seat! This week our young witches get a lesson in why it’s bad to delve into magic when they don’t know what they’re getting into. And they realize there are a lot more dangers waiting for them than they could have imagined.

So what happens when Cassie and Faye work a reversal spell before knowing why the original was cast?

There’s a robbery in tonight’s episode. Not just the one in the story, but we also have series creator Jonathan Nolan stealing from…..Jonathan Nolan! I’ll explain that later, but in the meantime we have a good episode that’s a little light on mystery but important in humanizing Reese and possibly establishing a villain!

To the recap!

I’ve got a bone to pick right off the bat this week – admittedly a personal one for my fiance and myself. We’ve seen our boys playing all sorts of geeky games – MMOs, 3-dimensional chess, and tonight a Dungeons and Dragons based board game – but so far, unless I’ve missed it, we haven’t seen them playing the ultimate geeky game. Where is the table-top roleplaying? The real Dungeons and Dragons or any of the other fantasy and science fiction games where everyone sits around and rolls dice. Lots and lots of dice. They did it on Community, but not Big Bang? Really? Okay, now that I’ve got that off my chest, I can move on.

Come with me now, because this weeks episode was very revealing, and I’m not referring to Penny’s wardrobe.

Disturbing Behavior. Wherein Stefan goes shirtless in an unconventional manner, Damon has an identity crisis, Elena has an identity crisis, and Alaric has an identity crisis. There are a lot of confused people today in Mystic Falls. I think it’s something in the water.

Team Ripper (anybody getting tired of these “team” shenanigans yet?) is enjoying a shopping and drinking trip during which Rebekah complains about women not wearing enough clothes and Katherine shows up.

Does democracy work? Can people get along, make decisions, and keep emotions out of things? Not bloody likely with our gang. This episode is much better than last week’s episode, but it’s the most irreverent so far this season for more reasons than one. From the crucifix debate to the baby funeral, it’s all hilariously wrong. And I love it!

The guys all decide that Paddy’s needs to be managed better, they need to make more democratic situations and not get so emotionally involved in everything. They try their damnedest, but fail miserably in the end. Meanwhile, Dee, who just got her surrogate money and bought herself a new Vespa, learns that she’s getting audited by the IRS. “I’m not a scammer!” she swears, but the license plate on the scooter says “$cammin”. She’s been claiming the baby as a dependent, so she needs a baby, STAT.
