After last week, I am still trying to figure out where I lost my jaw on the floor, but there are so many more doors that are now opened. We know that Unser threatened Tara to try and warn her. Also we saw that Clay has hired the cartel to take out Tara. There was also the fact that Juice had to kill a member of the club in order to keep his secret. We also saw the backlash after Opie slept with Ima.

Another story line that we were introduced to was Tig and his daughter coming into the club house. I cannot wait to see what this week brings!

The Braverman family has always been embracing adjectives. We’ve seen them sad. We’ve seen them joyful. We’ve seen them caring. But this week another adjective struck me above all others… selfish.

True, not all members of the family were selfish. But while I watched this week, I found the annoyance at select behavior overrode some of the bliss that others were expressing. So, let’s break it all down.

Inspirational stories about dancers are back this season with a touching story of a young woman from California. And of course, the reason we sit through this hour long night – the elimination.

A leader board reminder for you: J.R. & Karina at the top; Carson & Anna at the bottom. With a little bit of shakeup in the leader board will another good dancer get sent home because they had one bad night? Read on to find out.

Hawaii Five-O – Recap & Review – Ma’ema’e

A young volleyball team celebrates a victory, and their hot coach gets a cold shower, followed by a steamy one (ooolala) but then he gets sliced by an assassin looking hand. Chin has a hot date at Kamekona’s shrimp shack when he gets the call. Everybody is cranky but they are on the hunt.

Danny is on a rant because the dead coach lives rent free in a ridiculous mansion’s guest house, and it doesn’t help his opinion of the guy when they find suggestive photos. Oy. The risque photos aren’t from the coach, they are just a stupid college mistake. So, we’re back to square one.

Gossip Girl – Recap & Review – Memoirs of an Invisible Dan

Sad, touching, heart-breaking at times…tonight’s episode of Gossip Girl may be one of my all time favorites. It was kind of a love letter to the fans, wasn’t it? The episode focused on the core characters, on their history and how they had evolved.

The release of Dan’s book served as a mirror for many characters to look at themselves truthfully. Some took it gracefully and heartbreakingly (Chuck!) and some took it really badly. Let’s see who, shall we?

Hart of Dixie – Recap & Review – In Havoc and In Heat

Hart of Dixie
In Havoc and In Heat

Bluebell is suffering through a heat wave, which means everyone gets a free pass to go crazy. The last heat wave I remember was a few years ago, and I grabbed diet coke and watched Pride & Prejudice (the long one). Of course, this is TV, and dealing with a heat wave is a lot more dramatic than my method of making it through a hot day.

Levon and Wade tell Zoe that she’ll eventually succumb to the heat wave. She assures them that she will not allow herself a free pass and heads off to work to find a lobby full of patients suffering from the heat. In come the Parker sisters, Polly and Fiona, whose argument over their late mother’s will caused Polly to start throwing things at her sister. Zoe takes the bloody one, Fiona, to fix up and learns that her sister has been acting erratically ever since their mother died.

Last week was one of the worst Two and a Half Men episodes. Ever. Both post-Charlie and in general. This week I rather enjoyed the episode and didn’t understand why – until I got to the end and realized Walden was barely in it.

This episode is a nice throwback to Charlie and Lyndsey, Alan’s shadiness and reminds us that Ashton Kutcher will always be Michael Kelso, no matter how hard he tries.

You can indeed run and you can indeed try to hide, but your past will always find you, no matter what. Scary, huh? But true. And even though the people that are now in Terra Nova are living in a time way before their own past, I guess we can say that their future will sooner or later come to haunt them. Right, Commander Taylor?

Anyway, the Sixers are coming to town in this brand new episode of Terra Nova and they come bearing gifts. Too early for Christmas? They surely haven’t got the right spirit.

Our patient of the week, Benjamin Byrd (Wentworth Miller), visits a staffing service under the guise of someone needing a job. He asks about drug rehabilitation and childcare. The nice lady rep says that they can help with the drug rehab but they just don’t have the resources to provide childcare but she would love to otherwise. Benjamin heads out while the rep has to take a phone call. As she’s talking, she looks down and there’s an envelope on the floor. She opens it and inside is a check for one MEEELLION dollars (sorry, channelling Dr. Evil for a second). She’s stunned and chases Benjamin down only to see him collapse on the sidewalk.

Castle – Recap & Review – Eye of the Beholder

Somehow, I never tire of the “everyone can see it but them” trope. This episode introduced Serena Kaye (played by Kristin Lehman) an insurance investigator who volunteers her services as a consultant on a case involving a museum curator impaled to death on a piece in his gallery. Not surprisingly, the chemistry that develops between her and Castle is enough to get under Beckett’s skin.

The opening scene shows us a shadowy figure breaking into the museum, presumably to steal a statue that looks way too cheap to be worth 50 million. Cut to a huge gala at the same museum, where the staff busily keeps investors happy while flustering around looking for their boss.
