Are you ready for some football? Flag football that is. Though some do get a little physical. More on that in a minute. Let’s start from the beginning. After last week’s panel, Angelea is bummed that she was in the bottom two again. She’s realizing that everyone is good in this cycle and you really have to work hard to put yourself on top. Bianca goes on and on about how much better she is than everyone else, that she’s special. Lisa tries to tell her how it really is and of course she doesn’t listen. I probably wouldn’t listen to Lisa either. Always spouting off about something that’s none of her business.

Bre really wants Bianca to start stepping up and be a grown up so that Bre can worry about Bre. She’s sick of constantly having to keep on eye on Biance. I say let her dig her own grave. But we all know how I feel about Bianca!

Up All Night – Recap & Review – Birth

Birth

Original Air Date: Oct 19, 2011

When I first saw the previews for Up All Night, I assumed we wouldn’t see an actual baby for several episodes- enough time to take us through the ups and downs of Chris and Regan’s pregnancy and birth.

As we know now, it turned out that only a few moments were given to the days before Amy was actually born. But perhaps audiences demanded more, because tonight finally shows us what happened between that pregnancy test and parenthood.

As we begin tonight’s episode, Peter comes across a house fire as he is driving down the street. He did the right thing by calling 911. Then he breaks into the house and saves a woman who is inside before there is an explosion. The woman’s husband was also inside the house, but he wasn’t as lucky. When Megan goes to positively identify the body, she discovers from the dental records that it isn’t the husband.

If it’s not him, who is he and what was he doing in the house?

Finally, after being teased about it for more than a week, we discover who the final 17 contestants are.

That’s right – 17, not 16. More on that later.

Let’s look at each judges’ choices and do a little backseat quarterbacking, shall we?

Wow. Just when you think you have this show figured out, they throw some great twists at you and send you reeling. Tonight’s episode was all that and more. I have to be honest though, I’m really sick of the whole Juliet storyline. She annoys me, but I suppose she’s supposed to do that. I just roll my eyes when she’s on the screen. At least she got to share some of her scenes with Jason Dohring, so that gave me something else to do with my eyes.

As we open, it’s still the night when Gemma disappeared. Bridget took Juliet home and lovingly tucked her into bed. Andrew comes home and tells her about Gemma being missing in action and then we are treated to a montage of Henry cleaning up blood and pieces of the broken vase, etc. It makes you wonder how all this will look in the brightness of a new day. Let’s find out…

Biggest Loser 12 – Recap & Review – Week 5

Biggest Loser
Week 5

Original Air Date: Oct 18, 2011

Anne – Associate Editor
anne@thetwocentscorp.com

It’s already week five on the Big Brother ranch and we don’t waste any time getting started this week. We jump right into our first challenge. Ali is standing in front of a huge Plinko board. For those of you that don’t know what Plinko is, it’s one of those game show type games where you drop a token in and it bounces of pegs and falls into a slot at the bottom. Each player places their name atop one of the slots. Whoever gets the token wins a week at home with their trainer. However, there is a catch; only their weight will count for the whole team at this week’s weigh-in. A few really want to win, but most don’t want the pressure.

Sunny wins! She jumps around and celebrates, but Bob is not happy at all. He goes off on her about how hard she’ll have to work. The black team has a really tense pow-wow and Bob tells the others that he’ll work on Sunny, but the rest need to stick to keeping everything up while he’s gone.

Benefit of the Doubt

Dennis – TwoCents Reviewer

So…this was an episode of television. I used to really like this show; the third season had a sort of cheesy/kitschy quality to it that made the show sort of fun and campy, but this season has been a complete disappointment.

The show has turned into a boring dreck that brings in random singers, such as Kellie Pickler tonight and Brandy last week, and trots out boring storylines that have been done before, and better. So what happened to the college 90210-ers this week? Read on for the character breakdown.
